Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was motivated by students’ low numeracy skills in solving zakat calculations and the suboptimal use of digital learning media in Fiqh learning at madrasahs. The study aimed to develop digital teaching materials based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to improve the numeracy skills of eighth-grade students on zakat material at MTs Al-Qudsiyah Plumpang Tuban. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects consisted of 34 eighth-grade students. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, as well as pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using feasibility percentages and the N-Gain test. The results showed that the developed learning media obtained a validity percentage of 84.62%, which was categorized as highly valid. Teacher and student responses to the use of the media were also categorized as very good. In addition, the N-Gain analysis yielded an average score of 0.8993 in the high category, indicating an improvement in students’ numeracy skills after using the learning media. These findings indicate that the integration of PBL in learning can create a more interactive and contextual learning process while encouraging students’ active participation. Therefore, the PBL-based learning media was considered feasible and effective for supporting numeracy-based Fiqh learning in madrasahs. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan numerasi siswa dalam menyelesaikan perhitungan zakat serta belum optimalnya penggunaan media pembelajaran digital pada pembelajaran Fikih di madrasah. Penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan bahan ajar digital berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas VIII pada materi zakat di MTs Al-Qudsiyah Plumpang Tuban. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 34 siswa kelas VIII. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar validasi ahli, angket respon guru dan siswa, serta tes pretest dan posttest. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan persentase kelayakan dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memperoleh persentase validitas sebesar 84,62% dengan kategori sangat valid. Respon guru dan siswa terhadap penggunaan media juga berada pada kategori sangat baik. Selain itu, hasil analisis N-Gain memperoleh skor rata-rata 0,8993 dengan kategori tinggi yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan numerasi siswa setelah penggunaan media pembelajaran. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa integrasi PBL dalam pembelajaran mampu menciptakan proses belajar yang lebih interaktif, kontekstual, dan mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran berbasis PBL dinyatakan layak dan efektif digunakan untuk mendukung pembelajaran Fikih berbasis numerasi di madrasah.
