Abstract

The imperative of nurturing student morality through contextual instructional strategies rooted in regional heritage serves as the primary catalyst for this inquiry. This investigation is designed to delineate the methodology of character fortitude by assimilating the cultural ethos of the Tengger Tribe into Islamic Religious Education (IRE), specifically within the thematic domain of commendable virtues at SDN Tosari II. The research architecture encompasses the structural alignment of indigenous tenets, the operational dynamics of classroom instruction, alongside the structural catalysts and impediments encountered during execution. A qualitative methodology leveraging a case study design was deployed for this academic inquiry. Empirical data were systematically aggregated utilizing direct observation, in-depth interviews, and archival documentation. The analytical pipeline advanced through data reduction, conceptual presentation, and the synthesis of final deductions. The diagnostic insights demonstrate that the core principles of the Tengger community, comprising communal synergy, religious moderation, individual accountability, and ecological mindfulness, have been successfully woven into the IRE curriculum. This pedagogical integration is actualized through collaborative dialogues, routine habituation, role modeling, and real-world case analyses. Ultimately, the synthesis of indigenous heritage and religious instruction effectively fortifies student character while deepening their cognitive grip on practicing commendable ethics within their daily social spectrum. ABSTRAK Urgensi penanaman moralitas siswa berbasis pembelajaran kontekstual yang berakar pada kebudayaan daerah setempat menjadi stimulus utama dilaksanakannya riset ini. Penelitian ini diproyeksikan untuk menguraikan program pengokohan karakter anak didik lewat asimilasi nilai-nilai tradisi lokal Suku Tengger ke dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), khususnya pada pokok bahasan akhlak mulia di SDN Tosari II. Ruang lingkup investigasi ini mencakup formulasi penyerapan nilai lokal, dinamika operasional proses instruksional di kelas, serta identifikasi elemen akselerator dan hambatan dalam aplikasinya. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus diadopsi sebagai pisau analisis dalam penelitian ini. Instrumen penjaringan data dihimpun secara komprehensif melalui teknik pengamatan lapangan, tanya jawab mendalam, serta penelaahan dokumen resmi. Pengolahan data dilakukan secara sitematis lewat fase reduksi, kategorisasi data, hingga penarikan konklusi akhir. Temuan riset mengonfirmasi bahwa pilar filosofis masyarakat Tengger yang meliputi semangat bersinergi (gotong royong), moderasi beragama (toleransi), komitmen diri (tanggung jawab), serta kesadaran ekologis telah melebur dalam kurikulum PAI. Strategi internalisasi ini diwujudkan melalui skema kerja kelompok, habituasi positif, pemberian contoh perilaku (modeling), dan pembedahan kasus riil. Hasil akhir membuktikan bahwa kombinasi budaya dan agama ini sukses mematangkan budi pekerti siswa sekaligus mempertajam penalaran mereka terhadap implementasi akhlak terpuji dalam rutinitas keseharian.
