Abstract

Community participation in preserving farming occupations is one of the crises faced by Boyolali Regency. To maintain food security and the agricultural sector, farmer regeneration is considered urgently necessary. The objective of this research is to analyze the factors that influence an individual’s willingness or unwillingness to work as a farmer, thereby enabling farmer regeneration in Boyolali Regency. The type of research method used was quantitative associative with a multiple linear regression analysis approach. The research data source was primary data collected through surveys conducted among farmer groups in Boyolali Regency. The dependent variable in this research was community participation regarding farmer regeneration, while the independent variables consisted of community perceptions, age, education, and land availability. The results indicate that, among the four independent variables, only community perceptions and land availability have a significant influence on community participation. Â
