Abstract

Nur Azizah. 2024. The Effect of Work Discipline on Employee Performance in the Civil Service Police Unit and Fire Department of Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This research aims to investigate the influence of work discipline on the performance of employees of the Civil Service Police Unit and Fire Department of Sidenreng Rappang Regency. Work Discipline is an important factor that supports optimal supervisor performance. The ability of employees to know the rules and carry out tasks with responsibility will have a positive impact on the productivity and effectiveness of the organization. The population of this study was 318 employees. The sample measurement technique uses the Slovin formula with a margin of error of 11%, so the number of samples used is 66 respondents, selected through a random sampling technique. Data was collected through questionnaires. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant influence of work discipline on employee performance, with the calculated t value (3.507) which is greater than the t table (1.998). Therefore, the hypothesis which states that there is an influence of work discipline on employee performance can be accepted. The coefficient of determination (R Square) value is 16.1%, indicating that 16.1% of employee performance variability can be explained by work discipline, while the remaining 83.9% is influenced by other factors outside the variables studied.

Abstract

Every organization, whether it's a business, social, or government organization, aspires to achieve a specific goal. The goal of an organization can be achieved through the effective and efficient use of human resources and other organizational resources, such as funds, materials, and equipment. Human Resources is an important element of organizations and plays a key role in the activities carried out by the organization. It is also the primary asset of an organization, which can determine the success or failure of the organization's mission and vision. This research aims to examine the effect of work status on employee job satisfaction at PSDA Office SKPD. The research use a quantitative method with Likert scale a sample size of 46 respondents. Data collected for this study was collected using a questionnaire, and processed by SPSS version 21. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling. Simple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the data, and statistical techniques were applied to test for validity and reliability. The results of the test showed that work status a significant positive effect on employee job satisfaction at Sidenreng Rappang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job training on employee performance at the Fire Department Office of Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method, with a population of 150 employees. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in a total of 35 respondents. Data analysis techniques used in this study included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and simple linear regression analysis. The results of the t-test showed a significance value of 0.000, which is below the significance level of α = 0.05, indicating that job training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) test revealed that job training contributes 21.5% to employee performance, while the remaining 78.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that job training is an important factor in improving employee performance in the organization.
