Abstract

A healthy lifestyle needs to be instilled from an early age, one of which is through the habit of having breakfast that plays an essential role in maintaining health and supporting daily activities. Breakfast functions as the main source of energy after the body rests throughout the night, thereby influencing concentration, stamina, and productivity in both learning and working. However, in reality, many people, especially children, often skip breakfast due to various reasons such as limited time or lack of understanding about its benefits. Based on this condition, the community service team carried out a health promotion activity under the Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat (GERMAS) or Community Movement for a Healthy Life, with the theme “Let’s Have Breakfast Every Day” for children in RW 11, Cawang Sub-district, East Jakarta. This activity aimed to increase knowledge and awareness of the importance of breakfast as well as to build positive habits from an early age. The counseling was conducted through educational and interactive approaches so that children could understand the messages easily. It is expected that this activity will provide a real impact in changing the mindset of the community regarding the importance of breakfast, while at the same time supporting GERMAS in creating a healthy, productive, and high-quality generation.

Occupational accidents are unexpected events. Incident of occupational accident often happened to health officer especially nurse. Therefore, it is necessary efforts to foster the implementation of occupational safety and health (OHS) in order to avoid occupational accident. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of implementation occupational health and safety (OHS) (knowledge, attitude, training, promotion and supervision) of the incidence of occupational accidents for nurses at Hospital X in 2025.The research is quantitative analytic survey research using Cross-sectional Analitics. The Population is all nurses from Outpatient room and  Inpatient room at Hospital X. Its amounted to 164 people, using technique of total population. Data analysis with univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with chi square test, multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression test. The results of the reaserch showed that effect occupational accidents are attitude p value 0,001, training p value 0,001, promotion p value 0,001 and the confounding is a knowledge variable to training variable. The conlusion of the research is to make the implementation of occupational health and safety become the most important for nurse. Recommended to the Hospital X along with occupational health and safety committee to improve the knowledge of nurses on occupational health and safety through socialization, training, and internal meeting of the periodic.

Abstract

The Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) is a crucial element in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, particularly at PT X, where workers face high health and safety risks. Regulatory compliance, employee training, risk management, and management support are key factors in the successful implementation of SMK3. The use of adequate technology and infrastructure also supports the system's effectiveness. Furthermore, a strong safety culture and periodic evaluations contribute significantly to improving workplace safety. This study aims to adopt a comprehensive approach and provide ongoing support for SMK3 implementation at PT X. A cross-sectional method employing both qualitative and quantitative research designs was used. The sample consists of 164 respondents at PT X. The study results indicate the following: 1) Project commitments and policies were established directly based on company standards. 2) OHS planning for PT X construction projects involved hazard identification, risk assessment, and the determination of risk controls; this planning began with the creation of a safety plan based on initial assessments as well as relevant OHS laws and requirements. 3) Regarding implementation, workers and new employees received safety inductions and health checks. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) was fully provided according to potential risks, and workers were required to use it while working in the field; routine SHE talks and toolbox meetings were conducted to facilitate OHS communication among workers. 4) OHS monitoring and evaluation involved periodic inspections to identify potential hazards arising from workplace conditions, equipment, materials, and worker actions; this process facilitated necessary corrective and preventive measures and ensured the provision of emergency equipment including emergency warning systems that were regularly inspected, tested, and maintained in accordance with regulations. 5) Review and improvement were carried out by compiling accident risk statistics and audit findings from the project, followed by addressing any identified deviations. Statistical analysis showed significant overall results (p ≤ 0.05), indicating a relationship between OHS implementation specifically regarding knowledge, attitude, training, and promotion and the occurrence of workplace accidents. The analysis results indicate that the variable most dominantly associated with the occurrence of workplace accidents is worker attitude, with an OR of 22.392; this means that workers with a negative attitude are 22 times more likely to experience a workplace accident compared to those with a positive attitude (95% CI: 4.091–122.559).
