Abstract

Sistem e-voting konvensional masih menghadapi berbagai permasalahan krusial seperti manipulasi data, kurangnya transparansi, dan kerahasiaan pemilih yang tidak terjamin. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem e-voting berbasis blockchain dengan memanfaatkan smart contract guna menjamin validitas suara. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melaui metode kualitatif, sedangkan pengembangan sistem mengikuti pendekatan Agile. Sistem diimplementasikan pada jaringan Ethereum testnet (Base Sepolia) menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Solidity dan framework Next.js. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode blackbox untuk memverifikasi fungsi sistem, serta User Acceptance Testing (UAT) untuk mengevaluasi tingkat penerimaan pengguna terhadap kemudahan penggunaan dan kepercayaan terhadap sistem. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memfasilitasi proses pemilihan digital yang aman, terdesentralisasi, dan dapat diterima oleh pengguna. Solusi ini berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi dan kepercayaan dalam pemilihan organisasi mahasiswa secara daring. Conventional e-voting systems continue to face critical issues such as data manipulation, lack of transparency, and insufficient voter confidentiality. To address these challenges, this study develops a blockchain-based e-voting system utilizing smart contracts to ensure vote authenticity. A qualitative method was used for data collection, and the system was developed using an Agile approach. The system was implemented on the Ethereum testnet blockchain (Base Sepolia) using Solidity and the Next.js framework. Testing was conducted using blackbox methods to verify system functionality, as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to evaluate user perceptions regarding usability and trust in the system. The results indicate that the system can facilitate a secure, decentralized digital voting process that is well-received by users. This solution has the potential to enhance both efficiency and trust in student organization elections conducted online.
