Abstract

Abstrak - Pelaksanaan Ujian Berbasis Komputer (Computer Based Test/CBT) di SMAN 2 Singaparna mengalami kendala berupa penumpukan lalu lintas data (delay tinggi) dan ketidakefisienan operasional akibat prosedur bongkar-pasang router secara fisik untuk mengisolasi jaringan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan mengembangkan infrastruktur jaringan lokal sekolah yang lebih permanen, aman, dan stabil. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) yang meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan, hingga protoype. Perancangan segmentasi logik menggunakan Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) disimulasikan melalui Cisco Packet Tracer, sementara manajemen lalu lintas data dikonfigurasi pada perangkat router MikroTik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi VLAN berhasil memisahkan broadcast domain antara siswa dan fasilitas guru. Selain itu, penerapan Simple Queue dan Firewall Filter Rules pada MikroTik mampu menjamin ketersediaan bandwidth ujian dan memblokir akses internet umum bagi siswa, sambil tetap mempertahankan koneksi lokal ke Server CBT. Pengembangan ini terbukti mampu mengeliminasi rutinitas isolasi fisik perangkat, meningkatkan proyeksi Quality of Service (QoS), serta menciptakan arsitektur jaringan yang efisien. This study aims to evaluate and develop a more permanent, secure, and stable local network infrastructure. The research methodology utilized is the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC), covering the analysis, design, and prototyping phases. Logical segmentation using Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) was simulated via Cisco Packet Tracer, while data traffic management was configured on a MikroTik Router. The results indicate that VLAN implementation successfully separated the broadcast domains between students and teachers. Furthermore, the application of Simple Queue and Firewall Filter Rules on MikroTik ensured bandwidth availability for exams and blocked general internet access for students, while maintaining local connections to the CBT Server. This development is proven to eliminate the routine of physical device isolation, improve the projected Quality of Service (QoS), and create an efficient network architecture Keywords: Bandwidth Management; CBT; Firewall; NDLC; VLAN;
