Abstrak - Jaringan komputer telah menjadi infrastruktur vital dalam mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar di era digital. Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Kota Tasikmalaya sebagai salah satu instansi pendidikan telah memanfaatkan teknologi jaringan untuk mendukung kegiatan akademik maupun non-akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas jaringan komputer di MAN 2 Kota Tasikmalaya menggunakan metode Quality of Service (QoS) berdasarkan standar TIPHON. Pengukuran dilakukan pada dua titik akses WiFi (Ruang 2 dan Auditorium) pada tiga periode waktu berbeda (pagi, siang, sore) dengan parameter throughput, delay, jitter, dan packet loss menggunakan aplikasi Wireshark. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada WiFi Ruang 2, packet loss mencapai 100% pada siang dan sore hari, sementara throughput turun hingga 269 kbps (kategori buruk). Pada WiFi Auditorium, throughput pada siang hari turun drastis menjadi 87 kbps (kategori buruk), meskipun packet loss masih dalam kategori baik (0,296%). Secara keseluruhan, indeks QoS berkisar antara 2,5 hingga 3,25 yang termasuk dalam kategori cukup hingga memuaskan. Permasalahan utama yang ditemukan adalah tingginya packet loss dan ketidakstabilan throughput, terutama pada jam sibuk. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan metode QoS secara berkala, migrasi ke fiber optik, serta peremajaan perangkat jaringan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan. Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya City as one of the educational institutions has utilized network technology to support academic and non-academic activities. This study aims to evaluate the quality of the computer network at MAN 2 Tasikmalaya City using the Quality of Service (QoS) method based on the TIPHON standard. Measurements were carried out on two WiFi access points (Room 2 and Auditorium) at three different time periods (morning, afternoon, evening) with throughput, delay, jitter, and packet loss parameters using the Wireshark application. The results showed that on WiFi Room 2, packet loss reached 100% during the day and evening, while throughput dropped to 269 kbps (poor category). On WiFi Auditorium, throughput during the day dropped drastically to 87 kbps (poor category), although packet loss was still in the good category (0.296%). Overall, the QoS index ranged from 2.5 to 3.25 which was included in the sufficient to satisfactory category. The main problems identified were high packet loss and throughput instability, especially during peak hours. This study recommends the regular implementation of QoS methods, migration to fiber optics, and network equipment upgrades to improve service quality.
