Abstract

This study aims to explore the linkages between Sharia Financial Institutions (SHIs) and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in improving financial inclusion in Indonesia. Using a descriptive qualitative method based on a literature review, this study found that LKS plays a vital role in offering financing based on sharia principles that are suitable for the nature of MSMEs. In addition, LKS also provides financial training, business guidance, and management and spiritual support. The approach of digitalization, utilization of Islamic social funds, and creation of local partnerships has proven successful in reaching MSMEs that are not yet connected to formal financial institutions. However, challenges such as low understanding of Islamic finance and the limited network of LKS are still obstacles in maximizing this synergy. Therefore, cooperation between the government, LKS, and MSME players is essential to build an inclusive and sustainable Islamic economic ecosystem. Keywords:  financial inclusion, Islamic financial institutions, Islamic financing, MSMEs

Abstract

This research delves into the significance of Islamic business ethics in cultivating consumer trust within the contemporary business landscape. Emphasizing principles like honesty, justice, trustworthiness, and transparency rooted in sharia law, Islamic business ethics aims to foster a just and sustainable economic framework. Through a descriptive qualitative analysis drawing on a literature review, the study highlights how adhering to Islamic values such as tawhid, knowledge, justice, responsibility, freedom, benevolence, and the distinction between halal and haram can curb fraudulent behaviors and enhance consumer loyalty. Findings demonstrate that companies embracing Islamic business ethics not only steer clear of legal infractions and reputational harm but also bolster consumer relationships based on trust and continued satisfaction. Thus, integrating Islamic business ethics serves as a cornerstone for ethical, competitive, and divinely favored business operations. Keywords : Islamic bussines ethics, consumer trust, sharia principles, ethical bussines

Abstract

This study explores Islamic axiology as an ethical foundation in the development of Islamic economics, addressing the failures of conventional paradigms that neglect moral-spiritual values. Using a qualitative library research approach, this study analyzes the transformation of economic theory from a value-free to a value-bound paradigm. The findings indicate that Islamic economic axiology, rooted in Tawhid, reconstructs the human role from a mere homo economicus to a khalifah. Empirical evidence suggests that integrating ethics into financial instruments, such as the risk-sharing principle, provides superior systemic stability compared to debt-based systems. Furthermore, Islamic axiology serves as a crucial moral filter to mitigate exploitative risks in the era of digital disruption and artificial intelligence. The study concludes that Islamic economics aims not only for material profitability but also for the achievement of falah and maslahah as an embodiment of the Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin mission. Keywords : axiology, ethics, Islamic economics, maqasid al-shari’ah, maslahah.
