<![CDATA[Social interaction was a very important role in the lives of the elderly. Condition of loneliness and social isolation will be the factors that affect health. This study was conducted to determine the relationship of personality type with satisfaction levels of interaction elderly elderly in the village Kemantren Mojokerto. This research was analytic correlation with cross-sectional research design. The independent variable was the type of personality, and the dependent variable was satisfaction interaction. The population in this study were all elderly people with as many as 200 samples of 133 respondents. The sampling technique used a type of probability sampling simple random sampling. The research was conducted in the village Kemantren Mojokerto on 17 Nopember until to 8 December 2014. Data collection using kuesioner. The data editing techniques, coding, scoring, and tabulating. Data analysis using Chi-square test. The results showed that most respondents have extrovert personality type and expressed satisfaction with the interaction by 90 respondents (67.7%). Based on data analysis using chi square test results obtained with the calculation of significant value (p) = 0.000 while α = 0.05. Because of significant value (p) <α = 0.05, then H0 is rejected. Conclusions from this research is the relationship of personality type with satisfaction levels of interaction elderly elderly in the village Kemantren Mojokerto. Families are expected to help the elderly in their lives and the elderly can form an open personality types so that the elderly can be happy and satisfied with the life.Keywords: Personality Type, Interaction Satisfaction, Elderly]]>
