ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze macroeconomic factors affecting Indonesia's economic growth during the period 2005–2023. Independent variables include inflation, exchange rate, foreign debt, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Domestic Investment (PMDN), exports, and imports, while the dependent variable is economic growth measured by Gross Domestic Product. Secondary data were obtained from Statistics Indonesia, Bank Indonesia, the Ministry of Investment/BKPM, and the World Bank. The method used is multivariate linear regression analysis with a quantitative approach to test the causal relationship between variables. The estimation results show that macroeconomic variables simultaneously have a significant effect on economic growth. Partially, imports have a positive and significant effect, while PMDN and foreign debt have a negative and significant effect. Inflation, exchange rate, FDI, and exports were not found to have a significant effect during the research period. These findings indicate that Indonesia's industrial structure still relies on imports of capital goods and raw materials, while the effectiveness of domestic investment and foreign debt management needs to be strengthened to support more sustainable economic growth.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor makroekonomi yang memengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia selama periode 2005–2023.
