Abstract

Religious and cultural diversity in Indonesia plays a crucial role in social, economic, and political development. Indonesia is home to a multitude of ethnic groups, languages, traditions, religions, and belief systems. These differences should not be viewed as points of contention; rather, they constitute a national asset that must be cherished and preserved. Research indicates that religious and cultural diversity is integral to Indonesia's identity. If society embraces differences with an open mind, interfaith and intercultural relations will become more harmonious. This fosters conflict prevention, strengthens unity, and creates a safe and comfortable social environment. Striving for social harmony is an imperative that cannot be overlooked. Managing diversity is no simple task; it requires collective awareness and appropriate strategies to ensure that differences serve as a source of strength rather than a source of division. This responsibility rests not only with the government as the policymaker but also with every element of society through their active participation in daily life
