<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the effect of Industrial Work Practice (Prakerin) on students' work readiness, both directly and indirectly through work motivation as a mediating variable, given that vocational high school (SMK) graduates in the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) program are required to master both technical and non-technical competencies, including discipline, adaptability, and work motivation. This study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design. The population consisted of all Grade XII TKJ students at SMK Canda Bhirawa Pare in the 2025/2026 academic year who had completed Prakerin, selected through total sampling, with usable data obtained from 89 respondents. Data were collected using a closed four-point Likert-scale questionnaire comprising 15 items across three variables: Prakerin (X), work motivation (Z), and work readiness (Y). The validity test results showed that all items were valid, with calculated r values ranging from 0.375 to 0.680, exceeding the table r value of 0.208. The reliability test yielded a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.886, classified as highly reliable. These findings indicate that the research instrument has adequate measurement accuracy and internal consistency for use in subsequent inter-variable analyses, namely path analysis and the Sobel test, to address the hypotheses regarding the direct effect and the mediating role of work motivation on students' work readiness. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh Praktik Kerja Industri (Prakerin) terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi, mengingat lulusan SMK Program Keahlian Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) dituntut menguasai kompetensi teknis sekaligus nonteknis seperti kedisiplinan, adaptabilitas, dan motivasi kerja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei eksplanatori. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa Kelas XII Program Keahlian TKJ SMK Canda Bhirawa Pare Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026 yang telah menyelesaikan Prakerin, dengan teknik total sampling, dan data yang dapat dianalisis berasal dari 89 responden. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner tertutup berskala Likert empat poin yang terdiri atas 15 item pada tiga variabel, yaitu Prakerin (X), motivasi kerja (Z), dan kesiapan kerja (Y). Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan seluruh item dinyatakan valid dengan nilai r hitung berkisar 0,375–0,680, lebih besar daripada r tabel 0,208. Hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan nilai Cronbach's Alpha sebesar 0,886, yang termasuk kategori sangat reliabel. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penelitian memiliki ketepatan ukur dan konsistensi internal yang memadai untuk digunakan dalam analisis hubungan antarvariabel pada tahap selanjutnya, yaitu analisis jalur dan uji Sobel guna menjawab hipotesis pengaruh langsung dan mediasi motivasi kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa.]]>
