Abstract

Academic ethics is an important foundation in developing students' integrity within higher education institutions. Discipline and responsibility are the main indicators of academic ethics implementation because they are closely related to compliance with academic regulations and obligations. This study aims to analyze students’ discipline and responsibility as forms of academic ethics implementation. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using a survey method involving 75 students from various study programs. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results indicate that students demonstrate good levels of discipline and responsibility. The highest discipline indicators were punctuality in attending lectures and timely submission of assignments. Responsibility was reflected through active participation in group assignments, academic honesty, and awareness of citing references properly. These findings suggest that the implementation of academic ethics among students is generally good, although improvements are still needed in time management and independent learning habits.
