<![CDATA[Event organization in Indonesia still faces significant challenges in ensuring accessibility for persons with disabilities, despite their population reaching more than 22 million people, or approximately 8.5% of the total population. The low participation of persons with disabilities in events indicates a gap between accessibility needs and current event management practices. This study aims to identify accessibility needs and formulate strategies for providing access for persons with disabilities in event organization in Indonesia. This research employs a qualitative approach using Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) involving multiple stakeholders, including disability organizations (PPDI, PERTUNI, and GERKATIN) and event industry actors (ASPERAPI and Backstagers Indonesia). Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns of needs, barriers, and existing practices. The findings reveal that accessibility needs encompass four main aspects: (1) physical access, such as ramps, guiding blocks, and inclusive spatial facilities; (2) information and communication access, including sign language interpreters, visual media, and screen reader technologies; (3) service and participation access, including the involvement of persons with disabilities as active participants and event staff; and (4) safety and comfort access, including evacuation systems and disability-friendly supporting facilities. The main barriers identified include limited awareness among event organizers, lack of standardized operational guidelines, and insufficient policy and infrastructure support. Based on these findings, this study proposes accessibility provision strategies through a multi-stakeholder approach, including strengthening event accessibility standards, enhancing human resource capacity through inclusivity training, utilizing assistive technologies, and fostering collaboration with disability organizations throughout all stages of event management. This study contributes by offering a strategic framework for inclusive event organization that can serve as a reference for government institutions, event organizers, and related stakeholders in promoting accessible and inclusive events in Indonesia.]]>
