Abstract

Competition in the clothing retail sector requires business owners to manage available resources effectively and efficiently in order to maximize profits. Cititex Clothing Store Jayapura, as a business engaged in fashion product sales, faces several constraints, including limited capital, storage capacity, and product inventory availability. This study aims to analyze the optimization of sales profits using the Linear Programming Graphic Method at Cititex Clothing Store Jayapura. The research employs a quantitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data are analyzed by formulating an objective function to maximize profit and constraint functions representing the limitations of available resources. Furthermore, the linear programming model is solved using the graphic method to determine the feasible region and the optimal point that yields maximum profit. The results of this study are expected to provide recommendations regarding the most profitable product combination, enabling the store to utilize its resources more efficiently. The application of the Linear Programming Graphic Method can serve as a more objective, effective, and efficient decision-making tool in sales planning and has the potential to improve business profitability sustainably.
