Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis minat sivitas akademika dan stakeholder terhadap pengembangan Program Doktor di Universitas Islam Negeri Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan melalui perspektif Sosial-Keislaman. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus instrumental, dengan data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap 30 informan dari unsur pimpinan, dosen, mahasiswa, serta stakeholder eksternal. Analisis dilakukan dengan model interaktif melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa minat sivitas akademika dan stakehorder tinggi pada dimensi afektif dan kognitif, namun lebih rendah pada dimensi konatif sehingga terjadi kesenjangan antara minat dan partisipasi aktual. Faktor penghambat meliputi keterbatasan biaya, waktu, kapasitas riset, dan dukungan akademik, sedangkan pendorong utama adalah kebutuhan peningkatan kualifikasi, pengembangan karier, dan tuntutan sosial-keagamaan masyarakat. Kata Kunci: minat akademik; program doktor; sosial-keislaman; pendidikan tinggi Islam; stakeholder AbstractThis study aims to analyze the interest of academic communities and stakeholders in the development of a Doctoral Program at Universitas Islam Negeri Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan through a Socio-Islamic perspective. The research employs a qualitative approach with an instrumental case study design, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving 30 informants, including university leaders, lecturers, graduate students, and external stakeholders. Data analysis is conducted using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that interest is high in the affective and cognitive dimensions but lower in the conative dimension, resulting in a gap between interest and actual participation. Inhibiting factors include financial constraints, limited time, research capacity, and academic support, while the main driving factors are the need for higher qualifications, career development, and socio-religious demands of society. Keywords: academic interest; doctoral program; socio-Islamic analysis; Islamic higher education; stakeholders
