Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the implementation of reflective learning in the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) through a literature review approach. Reflective learning is an essential aspect of teacher professional development as it enables continuous evaluation and improvement of teaching practices. The method used in this study is a literature review by examining various relevant and recent scientific journal sources, which are then analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify key findings, research patterns, and existing research gaps. The results show that reflective learning plays a strategic role in improving pedagogical and professional competencies, as well as critical thinking skills of PPG students. The implementation of strategies such as case-based discussions and the Understanding by Design (UbD) has been proven to enhance active participation, reflective abilities, and students’ conceptual understanding. In addition, reflective learning helps students connect theoretical knowledge with real classroom practices. However, challenges remain in the development of instructional materials and the design of effective and systematic assessments. In conclusion, reflective learning needs to be integrated in a structured and continuous manner at every stage of the learning process to produce professional, adaptive, and responsive teachers capable of facing the challenges of modern education.Keywords: Reflective Learning, Teacher Competence, Understanding by DesignAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi refleksi pembelajaran dalam Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) melalui pendekatan studi literatur. Refleksi pembelajaran menjadi aspek penting dalam pengembangan profesional guru karena memungkinkan evaluasi dan perbaikan praktik pembelajaran secara berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur dengan mengkaji berbagai sumber jurnal ilmiah yang relevan dan mutakhir, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi temuan utama, pola penelitian, serta kesenjangan penelitian yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa refleksi pembelajaran memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, serta kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa PPG. Penerapan strategi seperti diskusi berbasis studi kasus dan pendekatan Understanding by Design (UbD) mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif, kemampuan reflektif, serta pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa. Selain itu, refleksi pembelajaran juga membantu mahasiswa dalam mengaitkan teori dengan praktik nyata di lapangan. Namun, masih ditemukan kendala dalam penyusunan bahan ajar dan perancangan asesmen yang efektif dan sistematis. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa refleksi pembelajaran perlu diintegrasikan secara terstruktur dan berkelanjutan dalam setiap tahapan pembelajaran guna membentuk guru yang profesional, adaptif, dan responsif terhadap tantangan pendidikan di era modern.Kata Kunci: Refleksi Pembelajaran, Kompetensi Guru, Understanding by Design
