Abstract

First language acquisition in children is a complex and multidimensional process, as it involves the interaction of biological, neurological, cognitive, and social environmental factors. The brain, as the center of the nervous system, plays a crucial role in processing, storing, and producing language from early stages of life. This study aims to explain the role of the brain in children’s first language acquisition dan to explain the influence of the environment on brain activation and language development. This study employs a literature review methodology to explore the relationship between gadget use intensity, biological mechanisms, and early childhood language development. Using thematic and descriptive qualitative analysis, the study synthesizes existing research to understand how neurological, environmental, and technological factors interact in shaping children’s language acquisition. Children’s first language acquisition is strongly influenced by brain maturation and environmental stimulation. Neurological development, particularly the maturation of language-related areas such as Broca’s area and Wernicke’s area, provides the biological foundation for language comprehension and production. Brain plasticity in early childhood allows neural networks to develop efficiently through meaningful linguistic experiences. However, biological readiness alone is insufficient without environmental support. Rich and interactive environments—especially within the family and educational settings—play a crucial role in activating language-related brain functions. Frequent verbal interaction, responsive communication, and social engagement strengthen neural connections, supporting optimal receptive and expressive language development. Future studies should use empirical and longitudinal methods to examine gadget use, parental mediation, and neurological factors influencing early childhood language development across diverse contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the problems of Insya’ Tahriri learning from a theoretical perspective. Insya’ Tahriri is an Arabic writing skill that requires mastery of grammatical rules (nahwu and sharaf) as well as the ability to develop ideas in written form. However, in practice, this learning often encounters various difficulties that affect students’ writing performance. This research uses a library research method by collecting data from relevant books, journals, and scientific articles. The data collection technique is conducted through documentation study, while the data analysis is carried out using a descriptive-analytical approach by reviewing theories related to Insya’ Tahriri learning. The results of the study indicate that the main problems in Insya’ Tahriri learning include students’ low mastery of Arabic grammar, limited vocabulary, difficulties in sentence construction, and weak ability to develop ideas in writing. In addition, less varied teaching methods also contribute to students’ low writing achievement. In conclusion, Insya’ Tahriri learning still faces several theoretical and practical challenges. Therefore, the application of more varied teaching methods, continuous writing practice, and strengthening of grammar and vocabulary mastery are needed to improve students’ Arabic writing skills effectively.

Abstract

This study examines the use of tasybih, isti‘arah, and majaz in the Qur’an as important elements of Arabic rhetoric (balaghah) that contribute to the beauty, clarity, and depth of Qur’anic language. The Qur’an, as the miracle of Prophet Muhammad SAW, contains numerous verses describing creation, including natural phenomena such as plants, humans, and the universe, which strengthen faith and awareness of Allah’s power. Using a qualitative library research approach, this study analyzes verses of the Qur’an containing rhetorical devices alongside relevant balaghah literature. The findings show that tasybih functions as an explicit comparison to clarify abstract meanings, isti‘arah conveys metaphorical meanings through borrowed expressions to strengthen messages, and majaz expands meaning beyond literal interpretation while maintaining contextual relevance. These rhetorical styles not only enhance linguistic aesthetics but also serve moral, spiritual, and communicative purposes. Furthermore, understanding these forms is essential in Qur’anic interpretation, as many verses cannot be fully understood through literal meaning alone. Therefore, mastery of balaghah is crucial for appreciating the miraculous language of the Qur’an and for gaining a deeper, more contextual understanding of its teachings.
