Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem informasi absensi karyawan berbasis website menggunakan fingerprint recognition dan Internet of Things (IoT) pada PT Cahaya Panam Sejahtera Lestari Bungo untuk mengatasi proses absensi manual. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan metode prototyping dengan PHP Native, MySQL, dan dimodelkan menggunakan UML. Sistem mampu mengelola data absensi secara real-time dan terintegrasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan absensi, meminimalkan kesalahan pencatatan, serta mempermudah monitoring dan rekapitulasi data kehadiran dengan nilai pengujian 89,66% kategori sangat baik. This study aims to design a web-based employee attendance information system using fingerprint recognition and Internet of Things (IoT) at PT Cahaya Panam Sejahtera Lestari Bungo to overcome manual attendance processes. The system was developed using the prototyping method with Native PHP, MySQL, and modeled using UML. The system is capable of managing attendance data in real time and in an integrated manner. The results indicate that the system improves attendance management effectiveness, minimizes recording errors, and simplifies monitoring and attendance data recapitulation with a testing score of 89.66% categorized as very good.
