Abstract

Indonesia is a country with high religious, ethnic, cultural, and linguistic diversity, requiring continuous efforts to maintain unity and social harmony. Interfaith solidarity represents a form of social interaction that can strengthen relationships among communities within a diverse society. This study aims to analyze interfaith solidarity in the celebration of the 1st Century of Nahdlatul Ulama in Malang based on the values of the third principle of Pancasila and to explain its contribution to strengthening social unity. This study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through a literature review. Data were collected from books, scientific journals, official documents, and media publications relevant to the topic. The findings indicate that the 1st Century celebration of Nahdlatul Ulama in Malang received support from several churches that provided transit facilities, rest areas, sanitation facilities, and logistical assistance for participants. Such support reflects tolerance, social concern, and cooperation among communities with different religious backgrounds. The solidarity demonstrated during the event reflects the implementation of the third principle of Pancasila, namely the value of Indonesian Unity, through togetherness, brotherhood, and mutual cooperation. Harmonious social relations contribute to strengthening unity, maintaining social harmony, and reinforcing social integration within Indonesia's diverse society.
