Abstract

Kata Kunci: Depresi postpartum, dukungan psikososial, intervensi keperawatan, kesehatan maternal, kesehatan mental postnatal Abstract Background: Postpartum depression is a mental health condition commonly experienced by mothers after childbirth and can affect emotional stability, quality of life, and mother–infant bonding. Variations in the types of psychosocial interventions delivered by nurses have resulted in inconsistent findings, indicating the need for an updated synthesis of evidence to strengthen clinical recommendations. Methods: This systematic review was conducted following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Literature searches were performed in PubMed, CINAHL, Scopus, and ScienceDirect for publications from 2016 to 2026. Included studies comprised randomized controlled trials, quasi-experimental designs, and observational studies evaluating the effectiveness of nurse-led psychosocial support interventions. Study quality was assessed using the JBI Critical Appraisal Tools, and data were analyzed descriptively and thematically. Results: Six studies met the inclusion criteria. Nurse-led psychosocial interventions—such as supportive counseling, evidence-based nursing, group CBT, psychoeducation, the Thinking Healthy Programme, and Ratu’s Model—consistently reduced postpartum depression scores and improved coping, social support, and mother–infant bonding. Conclusion: Nurse-led psychosocial interventions are effective in preventing and reducing postpartum depression. Future research is recommended to conduct multicenter trials, extend follow-up periods, and develop digital nurse-led interventions.
