Abstract

The rapid growth of science and technology impact on all human lines including educational. The revolution era 4.0 is considered as a time of technology empower all aspects of society in which degreed humanists. The new society concept is born in order to balancing the application of technology in daily life without reducing human role. However, the new paradigm always brings its obstacles. For example, in education field, the teaching learning process faced several challenging than the previous one. Therefore, this study aims to determine the transition challenges from revolution era 4.0 to Society 5.0 viewed from educational perspective. The systematic review approach is adopted in order to describing the educational challenges due to that transition. The findings suggest to strengthen the conceptual theories and also become the basic of application education 5.0 era.

Abstract

The massive change of learning mode to online platform due to the outbreak of corona virus is the real effect for educational sector all over the world. The online learning is supposed to be promising solution for learning process during the pandemic. However, in developing country such as Indonesia, insufficient of the use of online learning system has also caused many problems encountered by both students and teachers. Choosing the right online learning platform hopping can reduce the barriers during online learning utilization. After eight (8) weeks of only electronic learning, an online survey was conducted to explore the students’ perception on the use of Google Meet in overcoming lecturing problems during the covid-19 pandemic among the Law students. The survey was conducted distributing online questionnaire using Google Form to the second semester of Dharma Sastra’s students. Data gathered from the survey were analyzed using descriptive quantitative method. Twenty-five students answered the online survey and taken as the sample of this study. According to respondents’ answers, most respondents state that the use of Google Meet in online learning is very helpful in overcoming the limitations and obstacles faced during online learning such as the quota burden being lighter because Google Meet does not spend a lot of cost during online learning. Furthermore, respondents also stated that the ease of accessing Google Meet is one factor in the usefulness of this media. Google Meet can be accessed by students using both laptops and cellphones. Another benefit of this Platform is that it is easy to use. Respondents acknowledged that Google Meet is easier to use as a medium for interaction and presentation. So that the quality of online learning is felt to be of higher quality. The results also show that students are still in adjustment in online learning because their perception results are still in the medium category in the usefulness of this platform.

Abstract

The speech act is a linguistic phenomenon that occurs in society, one of which is the Ngaju Dayak community. The Dayak Ngaju people are one of the Dayak tribes in Central Kalimantan. This study aimed to describe: 1) directive speech acts’ types in Dayak Ngaju language in Pulang Pisau district, 2) the functions of directive speech acts in Dayak Ngaju language in Pulang Pisau district, 3) factors which is caused directive speech acts in Dayak Ngaju language in Pulang Pisau Regency. Descriptive qualitative research was adopted to use in this study. In selecting the sample, the researchers used purposive sampling so that the data obtained is more representative. The researcher used observation, interviews, and taking notes to collect the data. The results state that: 1) Directive speech acts types of the Dayak Ngaju language in Parahangan village, Pulang Pisau Regency, belong to direct and indirect directive speech acts, 2) directive speech acts’ functions in the Dayak Ngaju language in Parahangan village, Pulang Pisau Regency, consist of six functions, namely directive speech acts of commands, orders, requests, prohibitions, invitations and giving suggestions, 3) several aspects influence a speech act namely: (1) the speaker/partner, (2) the purpose of the speech, (3) and social distance.
