Abstract

Abstrak. APencapaian target produktivitas pada kegiatan coal getting terkendala oleh tingginya variabilitas waktu siklus akibat dominasi aktivitas sekunder dan hambatan operasional pada alat muat (loader). Kinerja alat muat sangat dinamis dan dipengaruhi oleh berbagai variabel stokastik seperti kondisi fragmentasi batuan, geometri front kerja, serta keterampilan operator. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis best performance loader Excavator CAT 330 menggunakan pendekatan distribusi statistik guna mengidentifikasi pola operasional yang optimal. Penelitian dilakukan di PIT 4 PT Dizamatra Powerindo dengan metode time study terhadap 382 siklus kerja. Analisis statistik mengungkapkan bahwa distribusi data waktu edar memiliki pola yang bervariasi: aktivitas digging cenderung berdistribusi normal (nearly normal), sedangkan aktivitas dumping, swing kosong, dan delay didominasi oleh distribusi miring positif (right-skewed), serta aktivitas swing isi menunjukkan pola bimodal. Berdasarkan analisis frekuensi dominan, diperoleh nilai best performance produktivitas sebesar 225,96 ton/jam dengan efisiensi kerja 0,89, melampaui target perusahaan sebesar 220 ton/jam. Pendekatan distribusi statistik terbukti efektif dalam menentukan standar produktivitas yang realistis dan mengidentifikasi delay ekstrem sebagai faktor utama penghambat kinerja. Abstract. The achievement of productivity targets in coal getting activities is hindered by high cycle time variability due to the dominance of secondary activities and operational delays in the loader. Loader performance is highly dynamic and influenced by various stochastic variables such as rock fragmentation conditions, working front geometry, and operator skill. This study aims to analyze the best performance of the CAT 330 Excavator loader using a statistical distribution approach to identify optimal operational patterns. The research was conducted at PIT 4 PT Dizamatra Powerindo using a time study method on 382 work cycles. Statistical analysis revealed varied cycle time distribution patterns: digging activities tended to be nearly normal, while dumping, empty swing, and delay activities were dominated by right-skewed distributions, and loaded swing activities showed a bimodal pattern. Based on dominant frequency analysis, the best performance productivity was obtained at 225.96 tons/hour with a work efficiency of 0.89, exceeding the company's target of 220 tons/hour. The statistical distribution approach proved effective in determining realistic productivity standards and identifying extreme delays as the main factor hindering performance.
