Microgreens merupakan tanaman muda yang dibudidayakan secara singkat dan dikenal memiliki kandungan mineral, vitamin, dan senyawa fitokimia yang tinggi. Media tanam diketahui dapat memengaruhi kandungan mineral esensial pada microgreens karena berperan dalam menyediakan air dan unsur hara yang dibutuhkan tanaman. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai jenis media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan kandungan mineral esensial (Fe, Cu, K) pada microgreens sawi hijau. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2025 sampai Januari 2026 di Gedung A Fakultas Pertanian Kampus 2 Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang di Desa Margasari, Kecamatan Karawang Timur, Kabupaten Karawang, Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktor tunggal yang terdiri atas 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, sehingga diperoleh 25 unit percobaan. Perlakuan meliputi M0 = tanah, M1 = cocopeat, M2 = vermiculite, M3 = rockwool, dan M4 = perlite. Pengaruh perlakuan dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagai jenis media tanam berpengaruh terhadap parameter laju pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, laju pertumbuhan luas daun, dan kandungan mineral kalium, besi, dan tembaga. Media tanah (M0) memberikan hasil terbaik pada rata-rata laju pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman sebesar 0,450 cm/hari, laju pertumbuhan luas daun sebesar 0,090 cm2/hari, kandungan klorofil sebesar 37,1 unit, dan kandungan besi (Fe) sebesar 1.598,2 mg/ 100g. Microgreens are young plants that are grown for a short period and are known to be rich in minerals, vitamins, and phytochemicals. Growing media are known to influence the essential mineral content of microgreens because they play a role in supplying the water and nutrients needed by the plants. This study aimed to determine the effect of various types of growing media on the growth and essential mineral content (Fe, Cu, K) of green mustard microgreens. The study was conducted from December 2025 to January 2026 in Building A of the Faculty of Agriculture, Campus 2, Singaperbangsa Karawang University, in Margasari Village, East Karawang District, Karawang Regency, West Java. The research method used was an experimental design with a single-factor randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replicates, resulting in 25 experimental units. The treatments included M0 = soil, M1 = cocopeat, M2 = vermiculite, M3 = rockwool, and M4 = perlite. The effects of the treatments were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and followed by the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test at the 5% level. The results showed that various types of growing media affected the parameters of plant height growth rate, leaf area growth rate, and the mineral content of potassium, iron, and copper. Soil medium (M0) yielded the best results with an average plant height growth rate of 0.450 cm/day, a leaf area growth rate of 0.090 cm²/day, a chlorophyll content of 37.1 units, and an iron (Fe) content of 1,598.2 mg/100 g.
