Masa remaja adalah fase transisi fisik dan emosional di mana body image sangat memengaruhi tingkat harga diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan body image dengan harga diri pada remaja perempuan di SMK X Denpasar. Penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional ini melibatkan 140 siswi berusia 15-18 tahun yang dipilih melalui simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire-Appearance Scales (MBSRQ-AS) dan Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden memiliki body image negatif (65,0%) dan harga diri rendah (46,4%). Uji Spearman Rank menghasilkan nilai p = 0,001 dan koefisien korelasi r = 0,475. Kesimpulan, terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan dengan kekuatan korelasi sedang antara body image dan harga diri; semakin positif body image yang dirasakan, semakin tinggi pula tingkat harga diri siswi tersebut. Diharapkan bagi institusi pendidikan dan lingkungan (keluarga dan masyarakat) untuk memberikan dukungan positif, serta upaya skrining dini kondisi psikologis oleh pelayanan kesehatan atau unit kesehatan sekolah. Adolescence is a physical and emotional transitional phase where body image significantly influences self-esteem. This study aims to analyze the relationship between body image and self-esteem among female adolescents at SMK X Denpasar. This correlational quantitative research utilized a cross-sectional approach, involving 140 female students aged 15–18 years who were selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using the Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire-Appearance Scales (MBSRQ-AS) and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES). The results indicated that the majority of respondents had a negative body image (65.0%) and low self-esteem (46.4%). The Spearman Rank correlation test yielded a p-value of 0.001 and a correlation coefficient of r = 0.475. In conclusion, there is a significant positive relationship with a moderate correlation strength between body image and self-esteem; a more positive perceived body image correlates with a higher level of self-esteem among the students. It is recommended that educational institutions and the surrounding environment (family and community) provide positive support, alongside early psychological screening efforts conducted by healthcare services or school health unit.
