Abstract

Abstract: Classroom action research generally aims to improve the quality of learning for students in grade IV SD Negeri 010083 Kisaran Kota. Specifically aimed at: (1) Efforts to Grow Interest and Creativity Through Learning Methods Discovery Learning Operational Materials to Calculate Grade IV Students' Mathematics Lesson SD Negeri 010083 Kisaran Kota discrit Kota Kisaran Barat academic year 2017/2018; (2) Describe the management of mathematics learning by the teacher; This classroom action research is carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. Classroom action research was conducted in class IV SD Negeri 010083 Kisaran Kota totaling 42 students. The subjects of this study were fourth grade mathematics teachers and fourth grade students of SD Negeri 010083 Kisaran Kota, the data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation studies. Keywords: Interest, Creativity and Discovery Learning Abstrak: Penelitian tindakan kelas secara umum bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran untuk peserta didik kelas IV SDN 010083 Kisaran Kota. secara khusus bertujuan untuk: (1) Upaya Menumbuhkan Minat dan Kreatifitas Melalui Metode Pembelajaran Discovery Learning Materi Operasi Hitung Bilangan Pelajaran Matematika Siswa Kelas IV SDN 010083 Kisaran Kota Kec. Kota Kisaran Barat TP. 2017/2018; (2) Mendeskripsikan pengelolaan pembelajaran matematika oleh guru ; Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan dikelas IV SDN 010083 Kisaran Kota yang berjumlah 42 orang siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru Matematika kelas IV dan siswa kelas IV SDN 010083 Kisaran Kota, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, test, dan study dokumentasi. Kata kunci: Minat, Kreatifitas dan Discovery Learning
