Based on the results of observations at SMP IT Bina Insan Batang Kuis, researchers still found several students who did not understand the skills of several passing techniques in volleyball so that the game seemed haphazard. This was possibly caused by the students' inability to master passing. This study used the classroom action research (CAR) method. Generally speaking, in classroom action research, there are four stages that are commonly passed, namely, (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, (4) reflection. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there was an increase in passing skills in students at SMP IT Bina Insan Batang Kuis.

Abstract

Volleyball is a complex game, not easy for everyone to do. Knowledge of basic techniques is required, including serving, passing, blocking, and smashing. The use of underhand passing in volleyball is very important because this technique is very dominant in the game. This study aims to determine the effect of the Teaching at the Right Level approach to improve underhand passing skills in grade X students of SMA Darut Taqwa Purwosari Pasuruan. This study was conducted using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study was carried out in two cycles, starting with the pre-cycle stage to obtain a direct picture of underhand passing skills in students. The results of the pre-cycle stage were students whose scores were above the KKTP were only 19.44% or as many as 7 students. This value increased in the first cycle stage, namely students who got scores above the standard or KKTP to 16 students or as many as 44.44% of the total students. This result increased in the second cycle stage, namely to 31 students or around 86.11% of the total students. Thus, it can be concluded that the Teaching at the Right Level approach is effective in improving underhand passing skills in class X students of SMA Darut Taqwa Purwosari Pasuruan.

Abstract

The decline in performance and the decline in speed ability are the main factors for the MTs Darut Taqwa 02 Purwosari Pasuruan futsal team. Speed is an important biomotor component in futsal that requires fast rotation on the futsal field. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the cone drill training method with X-Pattern Multiskill variations to increase speed with a 20-meter sprint test on futsal players. Method: This type of research uses an experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 10 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a 20-meter sprint test. Data were analyzed using descriptive tests and Paired Sample T-Test tests with the help of SPSS 25. Results: The results showed a decrease in the average travel time from 3.68 seconds in the pretest to 3.41 seconds in the post-test. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test obtained a t-count value of 16.082 > t-table 2.262 and a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Conclusion: It can be concluded that cone drill training is effective and can significantly increase the speed of futsal players at MTs Darut Taqwa 02 Purwosari Pasuruan. This increase is driven by the adaptation of the neuromuscular system and synchronization of motor units through structured training patterns.
