Abstract

Unmet need atau tidak mengunakan alat kontrasepsi pada Pasangan Usia Subur (PUS) yang tidak menghendaki kehamilan diberbagai daerah masih cukup tinggi, termasuk di Desa Gayam Kecamatan Gurah Kediri. Unmet need sering kali terjadi ketika suami tidak setuju terhadap penggunaan alat atau cara keluarga berencana tertentu yang diakibatkan kurangnya pemahaman terhadap alat atau cara keluarga berencana, takut akan efek samping. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini memberikan edukasi tentang pengunaan kontrasepsi pada pasangan usia subur (PUS) yang unmet need dan pemberdayaan kader untuk pendampingan PUS yang membutuhkan layanan kontrasepsi. Metode pengabadian yang digunakan melakukan survey atau pendataan keluarga yang unmet need dan mengali alasan tidak atau belum menggunakan kontrasepsi, diskusi kelompok terarah untuk mengali masukan pemecahan masalah, pelatihan kader tentang pendampingan PUS yang membutuhkan layanan kontrasepsi, Konseling pada PUS unmet need tentang KB( keluarga brencana), Penempelan stiker calon aseptor KB. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 3 sampai 22 februari 2020 bertempat di desa gayam Kecamatan Gurah Kabupaten Kediri. Hasil kegiatan dari survey ditemukan ada 105 PUS yang unmet need, dari kegiatan diskusi kelompok terarah dengan tokoh masyarakat dan kader menyetujui untuk kegiatan BPKB dan mengusulkan ada media untuk penyuluhan KB oleh kader dalam bentuk liflet , kegitan pelatihan kader telah terlasana, dari kegiatan konseling KB pada pus yang bersedia menjadi calon aseptor dilakukan penempelan stiker KB sebagai penada untuk kader untuk pendapingan selanjutnya pada pasangan usia subur yang membutuhkan pendampingan. Pasangan Usia subur yang unmet need membutuhkan upaya edukasi dan juga dukungan dari masyarakat ditempat tinggalnya agar dapat memilih alat kontrasepsi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Abstract

Physiological and immunological changes that occur as a component of pregnancy can have systemic effects, and increase the risk of complications. Through evaluations carried out in previous coronavirus outbreaks (SARS and MERS), pregnant women have been shown to have a high risk of death, spontaneous miscarriage, premature birth. The fatality rate of SARS and MERS among pregnant patients was 25 percent and 40 percent, respectively, there are several risks such as premature rupture of membranes, premature birth, delivery of the fetus with serious conditions. But whether Covid-19 increases the risk of miscarriage and fetal death is not known for certain until now. Data regarding the number of pregnant women who are positive for Covid-19 in Indonesia is currently not clearly available. According to the Jakarta branch of the Indonesian Obstetrics and Gynecology Association (POGI), pregnant women have a 13.7 percent chance of being infected with Covid-19 compared to those who are not pregnant. The purpose of this bathing activity is to provide understanding and skills to pregnant women to do prevention and also to prepare for childbirth by observing health protocols. The method used in the service, cross-program collaboration with the Mojoangun Jombang Health Center and the Shafira Polindes, Merakurak District, Tuban Regency which is a partner in the clinical practice of the Professional Nurses Program STIKES Karya Husada Kediri, the total target of pregnant women is 85 pregnant women, Education is carried out directly or face to face with pregnant women with due observance of health protocols. Evaluation of the results using an understanding questionnaire before and after education. The knowledge of pregnant women before education was carried out about most of them there was 69 (81.17%) sufficient knowledge, after education 80 (94.11%) or almost all of them had good knowledge. The success of this service activity is due to the support of its main partners in supporting educational facilities and places as well as efforts to mobilize the participation of pregnant women in this activity.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, implementing health protocols according to government recommendations is one of the efforts to prevent the transmission of the virus that must be obeyed by all groups, including pregnant women. Pregnant women are a vulnerable group exposed to Covid-19 virus infection which can increase maternal and newborn morbidity and mortality. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship between knowledge and attitudes about the risk of exposure to Covid-19 with preparation for childbirth during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Wilangan Nganjuk Health Center. This type of research is a correlational study with a cross-sectional approach. The population is all third-trimester pregnant women at the Wilangan Nganjuk Health Center in October 2021 as many as 104 people, sampling was carried out for 2 weeks on October 2-16, 2021 by accidental sampling which obtained 56 people. Collecting data using a questionnaire sheet, then analyzed using Chi-Square statistical test with = 0.05. The results showed, that among 56 third trimester pregnant women, almost all of them had good knowledge, as many as 49 people (87.5%), most of them had a good attitude about the risk of exposure to Covid-19, namely 36 people (64.3%), most of them were ready. in preparing for childbirth during the Covid-19 Pandemic, as many as 34 people (70.7%). The results of the statistical test showed that there was a relationship between knowledge about the risk of exposure to Covid-19 and preparation for delivery of pregnant women in the third trimester with a p-value of = 0.012, and there was a relationship between attitudes and preparation for delivery of pregnant women in the third trimester with a p-value of = 0.024. Pregnant women can absorb information about Covid-19 to increase knowledge about the risk of exposure to Covid-19 so that it can be used as a prevention and control measure for Covid-19 so that pregnant women can go through pregnancy and childbirth in a healthy, safe, and no accompanying complication.

Abstract

Maternal and infant health services tend to improve. This is marked by an increase in public access to maternal and infant health services, however, maternal and infant mortality rates are still high. Therefore, preventive efforts are needed to target pregnant women from the 1st trimester. The activity aims to provide understanding and skills regarding healthy pregnancy care. to pregnant women in the first trimester. The implementation approach includes education and focus group talks to build a class plan for young women that is carried out methodically. The method is a cross-program collaboration with the wilangan health facility in the village of Sudimoroharjo, which is a partner for the professional clinical practice of the STIKES Karya Husada midwife, Kediri. by following health regulations, interact directly or face-to-face with expectant mothers. Following an evaluation of the focus group talks, it was decided upon the activity location, the activity schedule, and the key aspects of the material to be presented. 93% of students who completed knowledge questionnaires following educational activities at the first class meeting understood about pregnancy care. The key partners in this service activity's support of educational institutions and locations, as well as initiatives to encourage pregnant women to participate in this activity, are responsible for its success.
