Abstract

Abstrak PT Purnamasari Mandiri merupakan perusahaan konstruksi yang bergerak pada bidang sipil dan infrastruktur, meliputi pembangunan perumahan, pintu air, jembatan, dan berbagai proyek konstruksi lainnya. Aktivitas operasional perusahaan sangat dipengaruhi oleh efektivitas pengadaan serta distribusi material proyek, khususnya pada wilayah yang hanya dapat dijangkau melalui jalur transportasi air. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis alur pemesanan dan distribusi barang di PT Purnamasari Mandiri melalui pendekatan flowchart guna menggambarkan proses kerja secara sistematis dan terstruktur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam, dan telaah dokumen operasional perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengadaan barang dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yang melibatkan koordinasi antara bagian lapangan, administrasi, pemasok, hingga proses pengiriman. Efektivitas distribusi sangat dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan stok material, kapasitas angkut transportasi air, kondisi cuaca, serta jenis barang yang dikirim. Pengiriman dilakukan sepenuhnya melalui jalur sungai menggunakan speedboat, jukung, dan ponton dengan durasi distribusi yang bervariasi sesuai volume muatan dan lokasi proyek. Selain itu, penggunaan WhatsApp dan Microsoft Excel sebagai media koordinasi dan pencatatan dinilai masih menimbulkan keterbatasan dalam integrasi data dan pengendalian informasi secara real-time. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan sistem informasi manajemen logistik yang terintegrasi guna meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, akurasi data, serta meminimalkan potensi keterlambatan distribusi material proyek. Kata kunci: flowchart, distribusi barang, pengadaan material, manajemen logistik, transportasi sungai Abstract PT Purnamasari Mandiri is a construction company operating in the civil and infrastructure sector, including housing development, floodgate construction, bridges, and other infrastructure projects. The company’s operational activities heavily depend on the effectiveness of procurement and material distribution processes, particularly in project areas that can only be accessed through water transportation routes. This study aims to analyze the ordering and distribution workflow at PT Purnamasari Mandiri using a flowchart approach to systematically illustrate the operational processes. A qualitative research method was employed through field observations, in-depth interviews, and operational document analysis. The findings indicate that the procurement process involves multiple interconnected stages requiring coordination between field personnel, administrative staff, suppliers, and delivery operators. Distribution performance is strongly influenced by material availability, transportation capacity, weather conditions, and the characteristics of the delivered goods. All deliveries are conducted exclusively through river transportation using speedboats, traditional boats (jukung), and barges (ponton), with delivery durations varying according to cargo volume and project location. Furthermore, the current reliance on WhatsApp and Microsoft Excel for coordination and documentation still creates limitations in data integration and real-time monitoring. Therefore, this study recommends the implementation of an integrated logistics management information system to improve operational efficiency, enhance data accuracy, and reduce the risk of project material delivery delays.
