Abstract

Syamsudin Noor Airport Access Road Development Project, Landasan Ulin Sub-district, Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan is a provincial road project carried out by the PUPR Office of South Kalimantan Province together with the Banjarmasin National Road Implementation Center. This project is carried out within 330 working days based on the schedule given in the form of Barchart. The implementation of this project should be completed in the shortest possible time, so that scheduling analysis is carried out using other methods, one of which is the Precedence Diagram Method (PDM). Through the results of the analysis in this study, it was found that the total duration of scheduling the Syamsudin Noor Airport Access Road Construction Project using the PDM method with the help of Microsoft Project was 221 working days and 270 calendar days, the total initial duration of the project was for 330 working days. The work started on September 25, 2023 and ended on 21 June, 2024. Keywords: Project, Scheduling, PDM, Project

Abstract

The reconstruction of Jalan Binderang-Sungai Impat is carried out to improve the of the road. The use of heavy equipment is very important to help the work and speed up the work process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the productivity of heavy equipment and the total time in the work of the aggregate foundation layer of class A, as well as to compare the productivity of heavy equipment calculated based on theory with field data and productivity based on field implementationIn the analysis, a heavy equipment calculation method based on the Minister of PUPR Regulation No. 08 of 2023 was used to calculate theoretical productivity. In addition, observations and direct interviews were carried out in the field to obtain data on equipment working hours, types of heavy equipment, and the capacity of the tools used to calculate field productivity. For general project data, tool specifications and work volumes are obtained from the contractor or consultant.Through the results of the analysis in this study, the theoretical productivity results of heavy equipment for wheel loaders 111.27 m3/hour, dump trucks 5,303 m3/hour, motor graders 132.69 m3/hour, vibratory rollers 78.54 m3/hour and water tank trucks 71.14 m3/hour were obtained. The total theoretical time for the work of the aggregate foundation layer of class A is 3 days, while based on the implementation in the field the time required is 10 days. Based on the theorectical analysis the number of dump truck 21units while in the field the number of dump truck used is 17 units. For onther types of heavy equipment, the fleet size is the same with 1 units both in the theoretical analysis amd in the field reality. Keywords: Heavy equipment, productivity, duration, number of equipment

Abstract

Time management is an important factor in ensuring the completion of a project. One of the important aspects of time management is scheduling. In this project, scheduling is based on barchart data, which is then further developed through this research using the PDM method. The data presented in the bar chart only includes the duration and sequence, therefore, a dependency analysis is required to determine the relationships between each work item according to PDM method. The duration analysisis conducted based on other data as listed in the project time schedule. Through the result of analysis, scheduling with the pdm method at Binderang – Sungai Impat Road Reconstruction project resulted a critical path consisting of the following activites, Roadbed Preparation, Ordinary Excavation, Selected Piles from Excavation Sources, Class A Aggregate Foundation Layer, Class B Aggregate Foundation Layer, Fc'15 Mpa Concrete, Prime Coat – Liquid Asphalt/Work Emulsion, and Mobilization 2,  and get a total duration of 98 working days, which is 22 days faster than the previous project plan duration of 120 calendar days. Keywords: Time Management, Scheduling, PDM, Project 2019
