Abstract

Currently, the Temporary Waste Collection Point (TPS Tombro) faces challenges in implementing a waste processing system based on the 3R principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). While there are sorting facilities, the inorganic waste sorting largely depends on scavengers, and there is no organic waste processing. This research aims to analyze the waste management system at TPS Tombro, focusing on its infrastructure, supporting facilities, and capacity to accommodate waste from the surrounding area. Data collection was conducted through interviews, field observations, and waste transport surveys. The results show that although some of the infrastructure and facilities are underutilized, TPS Tombro can still manage the waste generated in its service area without significant accumulation. The study also provides quantitative data on the daily waste volume and compares the capacity of TPS Tombro with the generated waste. The analysis reveals potential areas for improving the waste management process, ensuring greater efficiency and sustainability

Abstract

The construction sector in Indonesia continues to show a high risk of work accidents, largely due to human behavioral factors that have the potential to cause accidents. This study aims to analyze the work safety behaviors implemented by workers on the Aura Park Housing development project by PT Bahagia Selalu Bersinar in Malang Regency, East Java. The main focus of the analysis is on the level of Compliance in the application of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as the main indicator of Attitude towards safety. The research approach applied is quantitative with data collection methods using surveys and direct observations in the field over a period of one month. Data on daily PPE use compliance were collected from 77 project workers. The research data shows that worker compliance with PPE use standards reaches a very low level, which is only 20%, far below the minimum standard of 60%. Gloves are the most frequently used PPE, while the use of other vital PPE such as helmets, safety shoes, and vests is still very minimal. This low level of compliance indicates that work safety behavior at the project site has not been optimally implemented and a safety culture has not been well established.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of aspects of occupational safety, occupational health, and work environment on work potential, work quality, and commitment and job satisfaction in the construction project of the ISHK Tolaram Eye Clinic in Batu City. The research uses a quantitative approach with questionnaire, observation, and interview instruments. Multiple linear regression, the t-test, and the F test were used to analyze the data using SPSS 27. The findings indicated that the aspect of occupational safety had a significant effect on work potential, while occupational health and work environment had no significant effect. Simultaneously, the three aspects of OSH have a significant effect on job potential, but not on quality or commitment and job satisfaction. These findings affirm the importance of occupational safety in increasing worker potential, while health and the work environment need to be strengthened to more optimally support productivity and labor satisfaction.
