Abstract

The productivity of nursing care at Bhayangkara Hospital Level III Banda Aceh is directly influenced by nurse performance. Many variables influence how nurses work. Factors related to nurse performance from a management perspective have been identified by various theories and previous studies. However, the psychological elements of nurses that influence their performance in providing nursing care are still less well-recognized, such as psychological capital and mental health (depression, anxiety, and stress). The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between psychological capital, mental health, and characteristics with nurse performance at Bhayangkara Hospital Level III Banda Aceh. Quantitative research was conducted with a cross-sectional study design. A sample of 59 nurses was selected using the total sampling method. Data collection used the Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ), DASS-21, and Six-D Scale of Nursing Performance. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results showed that partially there was no relationship between age (P = 1.000), gender (P = 0.789), education (P = 0.187), employment status (P = 1.000), length of service (P = 0.187), hope (P = 0.272), resilience (P = 0.448), anxiety (P = 0.448) and depression (P = 0.448) with the performance of nurses at Bhayangkara Hospital Level III Banda Aceh. Furthermore, there was a relationship between self-efficacy (P = 0.0001), optimism (P = 0.002) and stress (P = 0.012) with the performance of nurses at Bhayangkara Hospital Level III Banda Aceh. Logistic regression analysis showed that self-efficacy (P = 0.002), optimism (P = 0.007), and stress (P = 0.039) were significant predictors related to nurse performance at Bhayangkara Hospital Level III Banda Aceh. Self-efficacy was the most dominant predictor related to nurse performance at Bhayangkara Hospital Level III Banda Aceh (OR: 8.857).

Abstract

Hospitals using electronic medical records (EMR) face a number of challenges, such as poor system functionality, a lack of computer skills among medical personnel, and concerns about data security and privacy. Hospital adoption of these systems is also often hampered by high implementation costs. The purpose of this study was to determine how staff at Bhayangkara Level III Hospital in Banda Aceh, who work with electronic medical records, perceive security, ease of entry, and legal evidence. A cross-sectional study design was used in conjunction with quantitative research. Using a total sampling method, 36 EMR staff were sampled. An instrument developed based on existing literature was used to collect data. Descriptive and inferential analyses were performed on the data. The study findings partially indicate a very strong relationship between perceptions of EMR and ease of data entry (P = 0.0001) with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.992; a very strong relationship between perceptions of EMR and data security (P = 0.0001) with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.922; and a very strong relationship between RME perceptions and legal evidence (P = 0.0001) with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.369. Based on the research findings, RME staff perceptions are strongly correlated with data security, ease of data entry, and legal evidence.

Abstract

Patient perception of hospital service quality is an important factor for the successful implementation of medical check-up units (MCU). This study aims to identify the influence of health service quality on patient perceptions at the MCU of Bhayangkara Hospital Level III Banda Aceh. The research method used is descriptive quantitative involving 90 patient respondents who have or are currently undergoing medical check-ups (MCU) at Bhayangkara Hospital Level III Banda Aceh through filling out questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using chi-square testing and multivariate ordinal logistic regression. The results showed that the majority of respondents were aged 18-28 years and most worked as freelancers/part-time workers. The results showed that most patients showed a good level of satisfaction with the quality of service at Bhayangkara Hospital. The service quality factors that were highly rated by patients were responsiveness (85.94%), assurance (85.10%), and empathy (84.29%). The results of multivariate ordinal logistic regression show that the Empathy dimension has the strongest influence (Exp(B) = 23.432), followed by Assurance (Exp(B) = 23.385), Real Evidence (Exp(B) = 23.268), Reliability (Exp(B) = 23.153), and Responsiveness (Exp(B) = 22.646). Based on these results, the factors that are considered quite low and need to be improved are real evidence and reliability.
