Abstract

This study investigates the role of dynamic capabilities as a mediating mechanism that bridges SEO, social media marketing, and Personalization with economic performance. Grounded in the Dynamic Capability Theory and Resource-Based View (RBV), this research aims to understand how digital marketing practices contribute to firm performance in a dynamic business environment. Using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), the findings reveal that SEO and social media marketing have a positive and significant impact on dynamic capabilities. At the same time, Personalization does not show a significant effect. Furthermore, dynamic capabilities have a positive and significant influence on economic performance, confirming their strategic importance. Mediation analysis indicates that dynamic capabilities significantly mediate the relationship between SEO and economic performance, as well as between social media marketing and economic performance, but not between Personalization and economic performance. These results highlight that a firm's ability to adapt, integrate, and reconfigure its digital resources is essential to achieving superior economic outcomes. The study contributes to the ongoing discourse on digital transformation and strategic marketing by emphasizing dynamic capabilities as the key mechanism linking digital marketing strategies to economic success.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the growing importance of national economic policies in supporting human resource development at the local level, particularly in regions facing geographical limitations and constrained local capacity. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of Indonesia’s national economic policies on human resource development in Humbang Hasundutan Regency, North Sumatra. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through a survey of 223 civil servants working at the local Department of Education. Multiple regression analysis was used to assess the effects of five dimensions of national economic policy, namely infrastructure development, deregulation and investment climate, downstreaming and industrialization, social welfare programs, and economic digitalization. The findings indicate that all five policy dimensions have a positive and significant effect on human resource development, with the combined model explaining 52% of the variance. Infrastructure development and social welfare programs exhibit the strongest individual effects. The study concludes that coordinated and integrated economic policy implementation plays a crucial role in enhancing human resource capacity, while also highlighting contextual challenges related to geographical accessibility, digital inclusion, and limitations in local institutional capacity.

Abstract

Hydroponic cultivation has become an important agricultural innovation for addressing land limitations and improving resource efficiency; however, community interest in adopting this technology remains influenced by cognitive and psychological factors. This study examines the effects of technological knowledge and attitudes on community interest in hydroponic cultivation from a risk management perspective. A quantitative research design with a cross-sectional survey approach was employed involving 180 respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The results indicate that technological knowledge has a positive and significant effect on community interest in hydroponic cultivation (β = 0.611; p < 0.001), while attitudes also demonstrate a positive and significant effect (β = 0.116; p = 0.037). Technological knowledge represents the stronger determinant, indicating that understanding technical aspects of hydroponic systems plays a crucial role in reducing uncertainty and increasing willingness to engage in agricultural innovation. The findings conclude that strengthening technological knowledge and developing positive attitudes are essential strategies for promoting community-based hydroponic cultivation. This study contributes to technology adoption literature and provides practical implications for designing training and empowerment programs to support sustainable agricultural development.
