Abstract

The rapid development of the digital era has created new challenges in civic education, particularly in building students' legal awareness regarding the use of information and communication technology. This study aims to examine how Civic Education can be optimized as a means of legal awareness education for the Electronic Information and Transaction Law at SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura. This research employs a qualitative descriptive research method with a literature study approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews with Civics teachers, participatory observation, and document analysis, then analyzed using qualitative description. The research results indicate that the implementation of Civic Education optimization requires fundamental reconstruction from conventional learning methods toward approaches that are responsive to digital technology dynamics. The main challenges are the limited understanding of teachers in integrating legal materials contextually, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and the characteristics of digital generation students with short attention spans. Analysis shows that the majority of students use social media platforms very intensively but do not understand the provisions in the Electronic Information and Transaction Law. Comprehensive solutions offered include integration of legal materials in the Civic Education curriculum, implementation of contextual learning methods through judicial simulation and collaboration with law enforcement agencies, utilization of technology in educational media, and continuous evaluation of civic education teacher competencies.

Abstract

Les Tourism Village is a village located in Tejakula District, Buleleng Regency which has beautiful Natural Resources. The utilization of Natural Resources in Les Tourism Village is very much felt, starting from being used as a tourist spot to becoming a source of livelihood until now. In 2024, Les Tourism Village was successfully named the Best Tourism Village by the Ministry. In the Observations that have been carried out, Les Tourism Village has various kinds of tourism and livelihood places. Starting from tourism places, Les Tourism Village has various great places to visit such as Yeh Mampeh Waterfall which is one of the beautiful views in Les tourism village, not only that, Les tourism village also provides beautiful hills and underwater views. The tourism village provides hill trekking and snorkeling or diving. Furthermore, the Natural Resources that are utilized as a source of livelihood, the sources of livelihood in Les Tourism Village vary from racing, farming, fishermen and traders. The most popular livelihood today is salt farmers. These salt farmers have begun to be recognized and have begun to form organizations by Bumdes. Through the tourist destinations and livelihoods in Les Tourism Village, it can add to and develop the development of Les Village, especially in the Economic Sector.
