<![CDATA[Perkembangan mode saat ini memicu pergeseran fungsi busana dari sekadar pelindung tubuh menjadi media ekspresi seni dan identitas diri. Salah satu gaya yang merepresentasikan karakter kuat dan komunikasi visual budaya adalah Exotic dramatic style. penciptaan ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan karakteristik estetika ikan cupang halfmoon ke dalam rancangan busana exotic dramatic style dengan kombinasi wastra tradisional kain tenun lurik. Metode penciptaan karya ini melalui beberapa tahapan, meliputi eksplorasi sumber ide, perancangan desain, hingga perwujudan busana dengan standar teknik menjahit adibusana (haute couture) dan butik. Struktur sirip dan ekor ikan cupang halfmoon diwujudkan melalui manipulasi kain (fabric manipulation) menggunakan teknik lipit (pleats) dan variasi ruffles (gathered, double, flounce, circular, dan tiered). Material utama yang digunakan meliputi kain tenun lurik Jepara, satin bridal, american drill, beludru sequin, satin plisket, dan tulle. dengan aplikasi hiasan sulam payet. Hasil dari penciptaan ini adalah 3 (tiga) set busana berskala ukuran L yang terdiri dari kategori ready-to-wear, ready-to-wear deluxe, dan haute couture dalam bentuk kombinasi blouse, rok, vest, celana, dress, serta obi belt. Koleksi ini telah dipresentasikan dalam pergelaran busana bertema "RITIH" di Gedung Pertunjukan Hoeridjah Adam pada 1 Juni 2026 sebagai upaya inovasi visual yang memadukan unsur alam, budaya lokal, dan mode modern. Abstract The development of fashion has triggered a shift in clothing function from being a mere body protector to a medium for artistic expression and personal identity. One style that represents a strong character and cultural visual communication is the exotic dramatic style. This creation-based research aims to implement the aesthetic characteristics of the Halfmoon Betta fish into fashion designs of exotic dramatic style combined with the traditional Indonesian textile, tenun lurik. The creation method involves several stages, including source idea exploration, design drafting, and garment realization using haute couture and boutique sewing standards. The structure of the fins and tail of the Halfmoon Betta fish is realized through fabric manipulation using pleating techniques and various ruffles (gathered, double, flounce, circular, and tiered). The primary materials used include Jepara tenun lurik, bridal satin, American drill, sequin velvet, pleated, and tulle, enhanced with sequin embroidery embellishments. The result of this creation is 3 (three) sets of size-L outfits consisting of ready-to-wear, ready-towear deluxe, and haute couture categories in the form of a combination of blouses, skirts, vests, trousers, dresses, and obi belts. This collection was presented in a fashion show themed "RITIH" at the Hoeridjah Adam Performance Hall on June 1, 2026, as a visual innovation effort that blends natural elements, local culture, and modern fashion.
