Abstract

The production of botanical pesticides using soursop leaves can effectively prevent and control various pests. One such pesticide, derived from plant-based materials like soursop leaves, contains active compounds such as annonain, tannins, and acetogenins. The objective of this initiative is to provide knowledge on the benefits and importance of environmentally friendly botanical pesticides, particularly at the household garden scale. The Food Security Agency (Dinas Ketahanan Pangan, DKP) of Bima Regency promotes family farming by utilizing household gardens to cultivate crops as a means of supporting food security. The methods employed in this activity include the production and application of soursop leaf-based botanical pesticides, observation, harvesting, and evaluation of program success. This initiative is crucial for achieving optimal results in pest prevention and control. Currently, many farmers rely heavily on chemical pesticides, which pose significant risks to living organisms and the surrounding environment. The application of chemical pesticides often leaves harmful residues on plants and soil. Through the use of botanical pesticides, this program aims to provide a safer and more sustainable alternative for pest management.

Abstract

Jagung merupakan tanaman Serealia yang memiliki banyak manfaat dan kandungan yaitu Karbohidrat dan Protein Tanaman ini memiliki peluang besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai sumber ekonomi. Upaya peningkatan ekonomi masih menghadapi berbagai masalah dan kendala yaitu dengan banyaknya  kehilangan pasca panen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Variable yang diteliti adalah penerapan penggunaan teknologi tepat guna pada tanaman jagung yang diukur dengan menggunakan sistem penilaian. Penentuan sampel pada daerah penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode purposive yaitu pengambilan sampel secara sejajar. Banyaknya kehilangan jagung disebabkan petani responden banyak menggunakan sabit gerigi kurang tajam, alas yang kurang luas, wadah dan kurangnya keras ikat pada mulut karung sehingga banyak jagung yang bercecran di tanah. Cuaca dan kondisi yang membuat tempat penyimpanan lembab menyebabkan jagung berjamur sehingga jagung yang di simpan bisa terinveksi penyakit gudang atau penyakit jamur. Kata kunci: Jagung, Analisis, Pascapanen ABSTRACTCorn is a cereal plant that has many benefits and contents, namely carbohydrates and protein. This plant has a great opportunity to be developed as an economic resource. Efforts to improve the economy still face various problems and obstacles, namely the large number of post-harvest losses. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The variable studied is the application of appropriate technology to corn plants which is measured using a scoring system. Determination of samples in the research area was carried out using the purposive method, namely parallel sampling. The large amount of corn loss was caused by many respondent farmers using scythes with less sharp teeth, less wide bases, containers and less tight ties at the mouths of the sacks so that a lot of corn ended up on the ground. Weather and conditions that make the storage area damp cause corn to become moldy so stored corn can be infected with warehouse disease or fungal diseases. Keywords : Corn, Analysis, Postharvest

Abstract

Ipomoea reptans (kangkung) is a vegetable that serves as a source of vitamin A, minerals, and other essential nutrients beneficial to human health. One method to increase the yield of Ipomoea reptans is through fertilization. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of different Ponska fertilizer doses on the growth and yield of Ipomoea reptans. The research employed a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with a single factor, namely the dose of Ponska fertilizer. The treatments consisted of five fertilizer levels, D0 = 0 g/plant or 0 kg/ha, D1 = 10 g/plant or 416 kg/ha, D2 = 20 g/plant or 834 kg/ha, D3 = 30 g/plant or 1,250 kg/ha, and D4 = 40 g/plant or 1,666 kg/ha. Observed variables included plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root weight, fresh weight, and dry weight of the plant.

Abstract

Untuk mewujudkan penurunan stunting di NTB pemerintah perlu melakukan kerjasama dengan banyak lembaga untuk menjangkau daerah-daerah yang jauh dari pusat kota. Dalam Penanggulangan Stunting di desa ntonggu kecamatan palibelo kabupaten bima dengan menfaatkan hasil pangan lokal dan mengolah bahan baku pangan local yang memiliki nilai gizi yang tinggi, pemanfaatan bahan baku panganan lokan gunana perwujutan penanggulangan stunting. Ketersedian bahan baku pangan lokal yang memungkinkan masyarakat dapat menuhi asupan gizi yang cukup. Program pengabdian masyarakat (PKM) ini berorientasi meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakan terkait penanggulangan stunting, sertan asupan gizi yang cukup. Selama tahap perencanaan program, kegiatan inti dilakukan kordibnasi tim pelaksana dangan para piahak terkait didesa lokasi program tersebut. Pada tahap pelaksanan dilakukan dengan penyuluhan tentang stunting dan gizi pada peserta sosialisasi yang hadir, penjelasan mengenai kandugan gizi yang dibutuhkan dijelaskan guna menambah pengetahuan dan meningkatkan kesadaran mengenai gizi. Penguatan intervensi dalam pencegahan stunting dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang kesehatan dan gizi.

Abstract

Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) is a type of fruit vegetable that has many benefits, so demand for cucumber commodities is very rapid. One way to increase cucumber production is through fertilization. This research aims to determine the effect of giving OLC (Organic Liquid Compost) liquid tofu waste and doses of petroganic fertilizer on the growth and yield of cucumber plants. The experimental design used was a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with two factors. The first factor, namely the dose of petroganic fertilizer, consists of 3 treatment levels, namely: P1: 1 ton/ha (2.5 g/plant); P2: 2 tons/ha (5 g/plant); P3: 3 tonnes/ha (7.5 g/plant). The second factor, namely the interval for administering OLC for tofu liquid waste, consists of 3 levels of treatment, namely: I1: OLC for tofu liquid waste fertilization at intervals of 7 days; I2: POC liquid waste tofu fertilization interval 9 days; I3: POC liquid waste knows to fertilize every 12 days. Observation variables include plant height, plant height growth rate, number of leaves, growth rate of leaf number, number of fruit, fruit weight and fruit length. The results showed that the treatment dose of petroganic fertilizer was not significantly different from all observed variables. Meanwhile, the treatment interval for administering OLC for tofu liquid waste was significantly different for all observation variables. And there was no interaction between the two treatments. Keywords: cucumber, petroganik; tofu liquid waste olc INTISARI Mentimun (Cucumis sativus L.) merupakan jenis sayuran buah yang memiliki  banyak manfaat, sehingga permintaan terhadap komoditi mentimun sangat pesat. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan produksi mentimun, yaitu melalui pemupukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian POC limbah cair tahu dan dosis pupuk petroganik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu dosis pupuk petroganik terdiri atas 3 aras perlakuan, yaitu: P1 : 1 ton/ha (2,5 g/pertanaman); P2: 2 ton/ha (5 g/per tanaman); P3: 3 ton/ha (7,5 g/per tanaman). Faktor kedua yaitu interval pemberian POC limbah cair tahu terdiri atas 3 aras perlakuan, yaitu: I1: POC limbah cair tahu pemupukan selang 7 hari; I2: POC limbah cair tahu pemupukan selang 9 hari; I3: POC limbah cair tahu pemupukan selang 12 hari. Variabel pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, laju pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, laju pertumbuhan jumlah daun, jumlah buah, bobot buah dan panjang buah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dosis pupuk petroganik tidak berbeda nyata terhadap semua variabel pengamatan. Sedangkan perlakuan interval pemberian POC limbah cair tahu berbeda nyata terhadap semua variabel pengamatan.  Dan tidak terjadi interaksi diantara kedua perlakuan. Kata kunci: mentimun; petroganik; poc limbah cair tahu
