Abstract

The development of financial technology (fintech) has had a significant impact on the global financial system, including strengthening the growth of the Islamic capital market in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze how fintech plays a role in increasing the efficiency and transparency of the Islamic capital market while remaining based on Islamic principles. The method used is a qualitative approach through library research, reviewing various literature, scientific journals, and relevant legal documents. The results show that fintech integration contributes to increased efficiency by accelerating transaction processes, reducing operational costs, and expanding investor access to digital financial services. Furthermore, fintech also strengthens the transparency of the Islamic capital market by providing a blockchain-based recording and reporting system that is open, accurate, and verifiable in real time, in line with the values of trust and justice in Islamic transactions. Thus, fintech not only plays a role as a financial technology innovation but also as an instrument for strengthening Islamic values through the application of the principles of honesty, openness, and responsibility in Islamic capital market activities in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract. The advancement of digital technology has opened significant opportunities for entrepreneurs in the health and beauty sectors to market their products more broadly, quickly, and effectively. Through social media, online marketplaces, and other digital platforms, promotional strategies have become increasingly varied and aggressive. However, this progress is also accompanied by the emergence of unethical promotional practices such as overclaiming and the use of fake testimonials, which may lead to fraud (tadlīs) and information ambiguity (gharar) in transactions. This study aims to identify various forms of digital promotional misconduct in the health and beauty industry and analyze them from the perspective of Islamic economics. A descriptive qualitative method was used, involving in-depth interviews with business actors, consumers, and Islamic economics experts, supported by relevant literature studies. The results show that misleading promotional practices not only harm consumers economically and psychologically but also violate the fundamental principles of Islamic economics. Values such as honesty (ṣidq), clarity of information (bayān), and trustworthiness (amānah) must serve as the foundation for all marketing activities. Therefore, active roles from religious institutions, government bodies, and academics are needed to provide education, supervision, and guidance for business actors and influencers so that product promotion can be conducted ethically, transparently, and in accordance with Islamic values.
