Abstract

The study aims to evaluate the utilization of Village Funds in supporting public health programs in Badung Regency - Bali, and also analyze its impact on public health conditions. The approach in this study is a Mixed Methods approach by combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data were obtained through a survey of 120 respondents from four villages in Badung Regency, while qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with relevant stakeholders. Quantitative data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression through the STATA 12 software application while qualitative data were subjected to thematic analysis. The results showed that the distribution of Village Funds in the health sector was categorized as very good, achieving an average score of 30.65. In addition, public health status was classified as quite good with an average score of 19.93. in accordance with the findings, it shows that all indicators are declared valid and reliable. Regression analysis revealed that the utilization of Village Funds has a positive and statistically significant impact on public health, evidenced by a regression coefficient of 0.642 and a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.8977 indicates that 89.77% of the variation in public health is due to the utilization of Village Funds. This finding confirms that optimal implementation of Village Funds significantly improves access to health services, the quality of health programs, and the overall well-being of village
