Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi yang dapat membantu kinerja staff Direktorat Samapta Polda Kepri dalam melakukan administrasi surat pada Direktorat Samapta Polda Kepri. Dikarenakan sistem administrasi surat yang digunakan saat ini masih menggunakan buku registrasi yang ditulis dengan tangan secara manual, sehingga dibutuhkan perancangan sistem informasi administrasi surat. Data pada sistem informasi administrasi surat diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan staff Direktorat Samapta Polda Kepri yang terdiri dari pendataan surat masuk, pendisposisian surat masuk, penomoran surat masuk dan surat keluar serta pengarsipan surat masuk dan surat keluar. Pemodelan sistem yang digunakan Unified Modelling Language (UML), dengan tahapan yang digunakan use case, activity, sequence dan class diagram. Sedangkan metode perancangan istem ini menggunakan metode Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) dengan tahapan inisiasi perencanaan, pemodelan proses bisnis, sistem teknologi saat ini, arsitektur data, arsitektur aplikasi, arsitektur teknologi dan rencanan implementasi. Sistem informasi dirancang berbasis website, dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database menggunakan MySQL. Abstract

Along with the development of technology in the era of globalization, the resulting information can be obtained quickly. Technology is also a tool that we use every day to carry out activities, not only in daily life at work also requires information technology that can facilitate work activities so that as a businessman can compete with other business people, applications and information systems are also part of technology which must be very considered in the world of work because this can cut time in work this is very effective compared to manual work without using technology. From the results of interviews that have been conducted According to Mr. Rudi Purnomo as the manager of PT. Shaftindo Pratama in the entry and exit of goods and managing stock of goods, has not been well integrated because there is no information system that helps PT. Shaftindo Pratama in carrying out its business.
