Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of fintech third-party funds on fintech lending in Indonesia. Using aggregate time series data on fintech lending and fintech third-party funds from January 2018 to December 2023, the total number of observations in this study reached 72. To analyze the effect of fintech third-party funds on fintech credit distribution, this study applies multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 19 software. The findings in this study indicate that fintech third-party funds have a positive and significant effect on fintech lending distribution in Indonesia. This indicates that an increase in third-party funds originating from the public contributes significantly to an increase in the volume of credit distribution by fintech platforms. In other words, the larger the amount of third-party funds available, the higher the credit distribution capacity that can be carried out by fintech lending. These findings underline the important role of third-party funds in expanding credit access and improving efficiency in the fintech financing system in Indonesia, as well as providing insights for stakeholders in designingstrategies to maximize the positive impact of third-party funds on credit distribution. First, fintech platforms must increase transparency, incentives, and fund management to attract morethird-party funds, expand credit capacity, and serve more customers. Second, an increase in third-party funds can expand credit access, strengthen financial inclusion, and support productdevelopment and technological innovation.
