Abstract

School Principal's Strategy in Improving the Effectiveness of Classroom Management This study aims to analyze the principal's strategy in improving the effectiveness of classroom management at Al-Hijrah 2 Deli Serdang Private High School, focusing on the principal's strategy, the implementation of academic coaching and supervision, and supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were obtained through interviews with the principal, vice principal, and subject teachers, and strengthened through observation and documentation studies. The results show that the principal's strategy is implemented through school vision-based planning, strengthening Islamic culture, dividing the roles of teachers and homeroom teachers, developing teacher competencies, academic supervision, coaching, and continuous monitoring and evaluation. Academic coaching and supervision contribute to improving teacher discipline, regular learning, and strengthening teachers' ability to manage the classroom, although follow-up supervision still needs to be carried out more consistently. Supporting factors for the strategy include internal school cooperation, religious culture, monitoring instruments, learning facilities, and foundation support, while inhibiting factors include the characteristics of adolescent students, teacher readiness, limited time of the principal, family influence, and the digital environment. This study concludes that the effectiveness of classroom management needs to be built through structural, professional, cultural, and ecological approaches.

Abstract

Managerial Competence of Madrasah Heads in Improving Teacher Performance Professionalism at Mas Al-Ittihadiyah Mamiyai Medan This study focuses on examining the managerial capabilities of leaders in accelerating the professionalism of educators at MAS Al-Ittihadiyah Mamiyai Medan. The method employed is a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data collection techniques include participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Meanwhile, the analysis process was conducted through data reduction, systematic presentation, and conclusion verification. Field findings indicate that the planning and task distribution aspects by the madrasah leadership have been optimal. This is evidenced by the preparation of annual and semester work agendas and the allocation of teaching loads that consider the expertise of each teacher. In terms of capacity building, professional development is realized through routine forums, classroom visits for supervision, and the provision of motivational stimuli. Support for self-development is also provided through facilitating independent training via the Pintar Kemenag application. Regarding quality control, supervision and evaluation mechanisms operate continuously by monitoring attendance, the completeness of learning administration, and the quality of teaching-learning interactions in the classroom. Comprehensively, the managerial capacity of the madrasah leadership contributes significantly to enhancing the discipline, accountability, and professional quality of educators.

Abstract

PRINCIPAL'S LEADERSHIP INNOVATION TO IMPROVE THE PROFESSIONALISM OF TEACHER PERFORMANCE AT MTs ZIA SALSABILA BANDAR SETIA This study examined the principal's leadership innovation at MTs Zia Salsabila to increase teacher professionalism and performance. This qualitative descriptive study uses grounded theory from a phenomenological perspective. Data was collected from principals, teachers, and students through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes reducing, presenting, and deriving findings, as well as triangulating sources, methodologies, and ideas to assess their validity. The study found that clear direction, continual mentoring, encouragement to participate in training, the use of technology in learning, English language familiarisation, and discipline enforcement with rewards can innovate principal leadership. Principal commitment, facility and infrastructural support, and teacher encouragement help. Perspective, facilities, human resource readiness, and environment hinder.

Abstract

Strategic Management of Teachers in Classroom Management in Increasing the Effectiveness of Student Learning at MTs SKB 3 Minister of Village Development of Lidah Tanah This study aims to examine the strategic management practices employed by teachers in classroom management and their impact on student learning effectiveness at MTs SKB 3 Menteri Pembangunan, Lidah Tanah Village. The method used was a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions using triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that teachers' strategic management has been implemented through the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages, but has not been fully optimized due to a lack of consideration of individual student needs. Student learning effectiveness is evident in the level of student activity and ability to complete assignments, although this is not uniform across all students. Influencing factors include teacher competence, student characteristics, the availability of infrastructure, and school support. Therefore, it can be concluded that teachers' strategic management is quite good, but still requires strengthening, especially in the implementation of differentiated learning and evaluation systems to improve student learning effectiveness.
