Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a new phenomenon that can facilitate human activities. AI platforms can be used as a platform for searching for information to then be implemented as educational references in the world of education and many others. For students, the existence of AI can help as a new learning method that can be utilized well by students. Information generated by AI can be a benchmark for students in responding to information that has not been verified. Through adequate digital literacy skills, students are expected to not only be able to passively receive information, but are able to carry out a series of thinking methods and assess the truth contained in disinformation content. Through this PKM, it aims to increase the understanding of SMK Ikhlas Jawilan Serang Banten students about the impact of Artificial Intelligence disinformation that is often encountered in life and provide education on strategies for strengthening digital literacy both in using Artificial Intelligence wisely and responsibly. The PKM activity was held on May 7, 2026, and was attended by 50 participants from grade X students of SMK Ikhlas Jawilan. The activity's implementation methods included interactive lectures, discussions and sharing sessions, case study analysis, practice in differentiating AI information, and evaluation and reflection. The results demonstrated that students urgently need to develop proper and responsible digital literacy to minimize exposure to disinformation content through AI platforms. To address this issue, the community service team provided students with a variety of practical strategies that can be useful in filtering and distinguishing between disinformation and genuine information.
