Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial behavior, financial literacy, and shariah knowledge on digital gold investment decisions among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Sultan Agung Islamic University Semarang. The increasing interest of young generations in digital investment, particularly digital gold investment, highlights the importance of understanding the factors influencing investment decision-making. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method through questionnaires distributed to 152 active students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Sultan Agung Islamic University Semarang. The sampling technique applied in this study was purposive sampling. The collected data were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial tests (t-test), simultaneous tests (F-test), and coefficient of determination analysis with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that financial behavior has a positive and significant effect on digital gold investment decisions. Financial literacy also demonstrates a positive and significant influence on digital gold investment decisions. In addition, shariah knowledge positively and significantly affects digital gold investment decisions. Simultaneously, all independent variables significantly influence digital gold investment decisions. Among the variables, financial behavior is identified as the most dominant factor affecting investment decisions. These findings imply that good financial behavior, adequate financial literacy, and strong understanding of shariah principles encourage students to make more rational and well-directed digital gold investment decisions.
