<![CDATA[Technological development is accelerating rapidly. The rapid spread of information can make it difficult for readers to identify fake news and news that influences public opinion. Therefore, it is important for the public to always think critically in order to process the information they receive accurately. Critical thinking is an essential skill, particularly for early-adolescent middle school students. This activity aims to enhance early-adolescent middle school students’ understanding of the importance of speaking the truth from a psychological perspective and to provide a platform for developing critical thinking patterns among early-teen middle school students. The core activity was conducted in the form of a sociodrama debate, serving as the primary platform for students to cultivate critical thinking, analytical thinking, improve their concentration, and support participants’ cognitive development. The activity was conducted in person in one of the partner school’s classrooms, with 27 participants in that class. As a form of evaluation, a survey was conducted via Google Forms to gather feedback and comments. Based on the responses provided by students through the Google Forms feedback survey, students stated that the activity ran smoothly and that they experienced a warm atmosphere and high enthusiasm from the students participating in the sociodrama debate. Perkembangan teknologi sedang melalui percepatan yang pesat. Persebaran informasi yang sangat cepat dapat menyulitkan pembaca untuk mengidentifikasi berita hoaks serta berita yang menggiring opini. Sehingga penting bagi masyarakat untuk selalu berpikir kritis untuk mengolah informasi yang diterima dengan tepat. Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang diperlukan khususnya bagi siswa SMP remaja awal. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa SMP remaja awal dalam kepentingan berkata benar menurut perspektif psikologi serta memberi wadah untuk mengembangkan pola berpikir kritis pada siswa SMP remaja awal. Kegiatan inti dilaksanakan dalam bentuk debat sosiodrama, sebagai wadah utama bagi para siswa untuk menanam pola berpikir kritis, berpikir analitis, meningkatkan konsentrasi mereka, dan membantu perkembangan kognitif peserta. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara onsite di salah satu kelas sekolah mitra, dengan jumlah 27 partisipan di kelas tersebut. Sebagai bentuk evaluasi, diadakan dalam bentuk Google Forms kesan dan pesan. Berdasarkan respons yang diberikan oleh siswa melalui Google Forms kesan & pesan, siswa menyatakan bahwa kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar dan merasakan suasana yang hangat serta antusias yang tinggi dari siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan debat sosiodrama.]]>
