Abstract

This study aims to analyze the obligations of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the digital era, as well as the challenges and adaptation strategies needed to ensure effective and meaningful learning. The method used was library research, reviewing scientific literature, reference books, and official documents related to religious education and digital technology. The results indicate that the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers has evolved into a multifunctional role as instructors, facilitators, moral guides, and curators of digital knowledge. Teachers are required to master learning technology, develop innovative methods, and be able to instill Islamic values in learning amidst the influence of digitalization. In conclusion, teachers' obligations in the digital era extend beyond delivering material, to optimizing the use of technology based on moral values and collaborating with various parties to create effective, innovative, and character-based PAI learning.
