<![CDATA[Pancasila is the foundation of the state and the ideology of the Indonesian nation which has an important role in social, national, and state life. Pancasila was born through a long historical process during the preparation period for Indonesian independence, starting from the BPUPKI sessions until it was officially ratified by PPKI on August 18, 1945 as the foundation of the Republic of Indonesia. The values contained in Pancasila originate from the culture, traditions, and social life of Indonesian society that have existed for a long time, making Pancasila a guideline for the nation in maintaining unity, justice, and social welfare. This article aims to discuss the history of the birth of Pancasila, the values contained in each principle, and the implementation of Pancasila in everyday life. The method used in this article is a literature study method using sources from books, journals, and scientific documents related to Pancasila. The results of the discussion show that the values of Pancasila include divinity, humanity, unity, democracy, and social justice which can be applied in daily life through attitudes of tolerance, mutual cooperation, deliberation, respecting the rights of others, and maintaining national unity. By understanding the history, values, and implementation of Pancasila, society, especially the younger generation, is expected to be able to apply Pancasila values in everyday life in order to create a harmonious, just, and prosperous society in accordance with the ideals of the Indonesian nation.]]>
