Abstract

Digital transformation in the primary education ecosystem demands structured management of modern technology-based instructional media. This study aims to deeply analyze the management of Digital Interactive Device (DID) utilization to improve teachers' pedagogical competence at SDN Ciranjang 1. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were gathered through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation study. Key informants consisted of the school principal, classroom teachers from grade 1 to 6, and school administration staff/operators. The analytical lens used was based on George R. Terry's four functional management functions: Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling (POAC). The results revealed that: (1) Planning for DID utilization is managed through the Digital Option Program (DOP) schema based on data-driven teacher pedagogical needs; (2) Organizing is realized through clear SOP-based job descriptions and the activation of a peer coaching system to bridge the digital literacy gap; (3) Actuating in the field is marked by high student learning enthusiasm through deep learning methods, although teachers initially experienced techno-anxiety; and (4) Controlling successfully mapped out material design innovations and school macroeconomic infrastructure constraints. This study concludes that the management of DID utilization at SDN Ciranjang 1 has run effectively and adaptively. However, the school still requires serious upgrades in electrical power capacity, internet connection stability, and the availability of built-in applications to ensure the sustainability of classroom digitalization quality.
