<![CDATA[Dwelling Time adalah waktu yang dibutuhkan mulai dari bongkar peti kemas di pelabuhan hingga peti kemas tersebut keluar dari pelabuhan. Dwelling Time di pelabuhan merupakan masalah yang menghambat kelancaran arus barang, menyebabkan tingginya biaya logistik, dan menurunkan daya saing. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya masalah tingginya Dwelling Time di beberapa pelabuhan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini mencakup tiga proses dalam Dwelling Time, yaitu Pre-Clearance, Custom Clearance, dan Post-Clearance. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis impor. Oleh karena itu, penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian tentang “Implementasi Prosedur Penanganan Petikemas yang Melewati Batas Waktu Penumpukan (Long Stay) Terhadap Dwelling Time di PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya. Dwelling Time is the time required from unloading a container at the port until the container leaves the port. Dwelling time at ports is a problem that hinders the smooth flow of goods, causes high logistics costs, and reduces competitiveness. This research was conducted because of the problem of high Dwelling Time at several ports in Indonesia. This research includes three processes in Dwelling Time, namely Pre-Clearance, Custom Clearance, and Post-Clearance. The aim of this research is to analyze imports.
