Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis laju erosi pada area penambangan pasir batu di Kecamatan Selo, Kabupaten Boyolali menggunakan metode Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis parameter erosivitas hujan (R), erodibilitas tanah (K), panjang dan kemiringan lereng (LS), faktor penutup lahan (C), serta tindakan konservasi tanah (P). Data diperoleh melalui pengukuran lapangan, analisis laboratorium, serta pengolahan data spasial menggunakan metode overlay peta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat bahaya erosi di wilayah penelitian didominasi oleh kategori sangat berat dengan 19 satuan lahan, kategori sedang sebanyak 4 satuan lahan, kategori ringan sebanyak 2 satuan lahan, dan kategori sangat ringan sebanyak 1 satuan lahan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, upaya konservasi lahan direkomendasikan melalui penanaman vegetasi seperti pohon aren yang mampu menahan erosi pada daerah lereng dengan curah hujan tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar dalam pengelolaan lahan pertambangan yang lebih berkelanjutan. This study aims to analyze the rate of soil erosion in sand and gravel mining areas in Selo District, Boyolali Regency, using the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) method. The research employed a quantitative approach by analyzing several parameters, including rainfall erosivity (R), soil erodibility (K), slope length and steepness (LS), land cover factor (C), and conservation practice factor (P). The data were obtained through field measurements, laboratory analysis, and spatial data processing using map overlay techniques. The results indicate that the erosion hazard level in the study area is dominated by the very severe category with 19 land units, followed by the moderate category with 4 land units, the light category with 2 land units, and the very light category with 1 land unit. Based on these findings, land conservation efforts are recommended through the planting of vegetation such as sugar palm trees, which are capable of reducing erosion in sloping areas with high rainfall. The results of this study are expected to serve as a basis for more sustainable management of mining land.
